The Highlands Restaruant

We ate dinner here because we stayed at the attached motel. Naturally, being a motel restaurant, my expectations were modest. What a scene! Great little restaurant. It was busy, the food was great, the pricing was a little high but within expectations (looking at other menus in town it was comparable). There were plenty of staff and they were friendly and attentive. I would recommend and dine here again.

Usually amazing. The service was great. Morgan is lovely and very professional. On this occasion all was great as usual except the sticky date pudding wasn't cooked properly. It is my daughter's favourite.

Absolutely delicious food, served hot and melt in your mouth. Every meal our party ate was so enjoyable. The service was excellent. Certainly worth a visit.

I have been lucky to have been accomodated at the New England motor lodge with work commitments.

Great atmosphere with the fires going. I had the barramundi special with risotto, prawns and broccolini. It was absolutely divine and I couldn't even fit in dessert! While I was initially a little put off by the price ($41), the servings are a great size and food is exceptional quality. Definitely worth it! The service was magnificent and we also enjoyed a nice glass of wine. Highly recommend dining here while in Glen Innes!

Not at all what I expected from a motel-connected restaurant! Fantastic food, almost perfect service (very quick) and a lovely building. We tried to eat there every night during our stay but it was fully booked each night at the end of the week - couldn't fit two people in! They still have us room service though, saying in-house guests were the priority. Service was fantastic.

Great food, awesome staff. Rang up on short notice for a reservation and they made room for us. Highly recommend if your in town...

We had a family function here. I can't say enough about this place, the service was first rate, but more importantly, the food. Well the food was exquisite. I travel a lot, I eat in a lot of restaurants. This is better than I lot I've eaten in, in Brisbane, Sydney and even Melbourne.

Absolutely brilliant service and food. Went above and beyond to help protect an immunosuppressed member of our party so we could dine out for a special occasion. We all thank you so very much.

Lived in the area for 10yrs I't a first time to experience the Highlands. Very nice, great staff, food was perfectly cooked and presented.
