Bad experience with rude & abrupt staff member at Mt Barker. Door was open & three of us walked in. Apparently sign on window said Closed between 12pm - 12.30pm. Sat down 12.20pm. Girl came out & said “Can’t you read? We’re closed! Please leave until we’re open. I’m
On my meal break.” We asked if we could sit down & wait. She said, “We’re closed. Go out and wait outside.” I said, “Fine, but you could be a bit more pleasant.” She huffed & puffed and said, I’ve got 10 more minutes of my meal break. Can’t you lot read. “. I was 41 years in the Police Force & would have loved to get all my meal breaks in! Other staff member came out at 12.30 and apologised, stating that they had had a bad morning. After being referred from the Cancer Clinic, I hadn’t had a particularly good 24 hours myself!
The offending staff member was not seen by any of us in the next half hour.
I live at Strathalbyn & whilst on Leukemia treatment, need weekly blood tests. I will travel the extra distance to Goolwa from now on. Very disappointed!

Not disability accessible. The door is narrow - too narrow for many wheelchairs. Health facilities especially should be in accessible buildings. Not ok. They need to widen doorways or move premises.

be warned the cant take blood with out pain and bruising... staff need to be let go or re trained ,,, its sad when any junkie could do a better job
