Beautiful cosy cafe with range of meal options! Inviting atmosphere and very friendly staff. Meal portions were so generous and cooked to perfection 💛
We had lot of different drinks from the menu and they were all amazingly delicious 🤤
Hands down the best in town!
(My kids were offered colouring pages while we wait, and children enjoyed a lot ! )

100% the best Nasi Goreng I’ve ever eaten. Such a friendly place, with the cosiest atmosphere. Beautiful owners who could not have been more helpful or kind, they even brought out pencils and colouring in paper for our kids. The view of the river with the maritime theme inside is so cute. Highly recommend the Sri Lankan food and really excited to go back and try more.

A great place to come for a coffee or a meal. Their take away meals are exceptional and very tasty. For a hearty and healthy takeaway, this is perfect. Dineboat is now going to be my "go to" restaurant in Devonport!

Moving to Burnie a few months ago and discoved this place, I have immensely impressed with the food and environment! All the staff there are so friendly
and the owners are so lovely! They have an amazing selection of Sri Lankan and Western food both.
Also it’s a great location to enjoy a meal as well.

The food, service and vibe was outstanding! A great little gem with a beautiful view, lovely staff and location. I really enjoyed my Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon, the mushrooms were a great addition and was one of the best Benny's I've ever had! The hollandaise sauce was delicious and the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. 10/10👌🏼 We will definitely be back! ☺

We had four different dishes and shared - every one was amazing. The flavors in each dish were so well balanced. Just exceptional all round. The service was lovely as many others have mentioned. We ate four items from the signature menu: nasi goring, creamy scallops curry, Oceania mix noodle, and satay chicken. 100% recommend this lovely gem of a restaurant. Usually when I see a long menu, I worry about freshness and quality but no issue here. It seems that these people can cook anything, use quality fresh ingredients and all at a super reasonable price. The atmosphere is maybe a bit cafe-like but clean and has a lovely view. Thank you to the servers, chefs and owners of Dineboat Restaurant. Sorry no photos - I forgot and we cleaned the plates.

Wow. We have been trying restaurants around the wider Devonport area and have been so disillusioned as the food has been subpar.
FINALLY we have found an authentic restaurant that offers good priced meals FULL of flavour, presented beautifully and very friendly helpful staff. We WILL be back.

Just a heads up. The pork belly curry is the BEST. Thank you to the team here, well done. May your business do very well as we tasted the love and care of Sri Lanka.

This was a lovely surprise. The setting is divine overlooking the river. The cafe has an extensive menu and I ordered a chick pea salad with poached eggs. When it was dellivered it exceeded expectations. The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much. I am looking forward to my next visit to try one of the many dishes on offer.

My 3 friends and I came here for breakfast today. We all tried something different off the menu. All 4 meals were superb!!!! Best breakfast we have had in Tassie!!! Well done!!! We look forward to coming back to try some dishes off your lunch and dinner menus 🤩

Good selection of dishes and prices are reasonable. The food tasted great and was very kid friendly. The staff were very nice.

Had Xmas in July tonight and what an absolute treat! Food excellent, service superb and our room had Xmas decorations and Xmas music. Over and above what was expected. And a beautiful complimentary dessert as well. Well done to the chef and friendly team.

Enjoyed our lunch today, pet friendly and alfresco. BYO from nearby Elimatta Hotel. This is a busy venue and bookings are recommended. We shared a med/hot Nasi Goreng with a Devils Corner Pinot Noir Rose'

What a gem of place! Decided to lunch here after reading reviews and we weren’t disappointed. The chicken kottu curry lived up to the positive reviews. Prices and size of meals were good. Friendly staff. Definitely going back.

Very nice atmosphere and service. Great variety of food options. Parmigiana was reach flavoured and so big. Milkshakes were perfect. Absolutely worth the money.

Just had Valentine’s Day dinner at Dineboat. Once again you fulfilled our cravings. Smoked salmon & avocado stack was an excellent appetite. Baked salmon on white sauce was seasoned to the perfection. And finally delicious red velvet cheesecake was the best you could ask to finish off the dinner. Excellent customer service.
