OK, removing tiles and grinding a timber floor is well outside my experience. Whilst this turned out to be one of the worst jobs i have had to do i would not have gone close to success without the help of Stirling Hire. The advice, discussion and genuine desire to help and guide a weekend DIY novice was exceptional. The advice was spot on, the outcome brilliant and a lot less expensive than the alternative of bringing a tradie in. The equipment was well serviced and up to the job, the experienced instructions prevented some rookie errors so I felt comfortable venturing where i hadn't ventured before. I cant thank Stirling Hire and all the staff (especially Pete) enough. Thank you !!

Excellent customer service. I hired a piece of equipment which turned out to be too big and heavy to get into the area I needed. They were more than reasonable in looking after me when I returned it an hour later unused.

I have hired numerous pieces of equipment from these guys. They are honest and helpful. They have a fantastic reputation across the Adelaide Hills for honesty, service and helpfulness.
I have also had our lawn mower and chainsaw repaired and serviced by them and found them to be fast and reasonably priced. Unfortunatley they no longer offer the service of repairs.
I can only recommend this family run business. It's great to deal with people that care about what they do instead of a big multinational company where people just "do their job" without caring about customer satisfaction.

I had a huge Blackwood felled six months ago and a woodshed full of enormous discs of the trunk. Stirling Hire's hydraulic wood splitter turned it all into useable firewood in one afternoon. Not only easy to use, but a lot of fun, compared to doing by hand.
