A great cozy spot to relax and have a snack or something warm to drink. The ambiente and friendly staff makes you feel at home. I recommend writing on the wall ;)

Groovy decor, groovy people, yummy food. AND, they are open when the Spirit of Tasmania ferry comes in ridiculously early. Win win! Thanks for a lovely intro to Tassie.

Great cafe!
We disbarked off the Sprit of Tasmania early morning and found this cafe just out the front of the jetty. We both had toasted sandwiches 🥪 😋 They were pretty good!! Good coffee.
The best thing was we could sign our name on the wall with the other thousand people! LOVE IT!!

really cute little cafe. the place has a really cozy atmosphere, and incredibly friendly staff. food is priced really well and just as nice!

Ace Cafe, had to go back on the return ferry.
$15 breakfast was proper, toasted sandwiches are great too.

I am a local and i recommend calling in to have coffee or a awesome burger cheaper than most burgers yet its sooo good the have mouthwatering specials of the day and everything you want how you want it and all made with love. Its open early so you can go there every day for all you can eat buffet brekfast say hello to theowner wendy and leave a message hand written by you on her already signed walls and to top it off you can sit inside or outside dont forget to call in its every bit and a bit more check it out yourselves you will be pleasantly suprised

Glad we stopped at the cafe after leaving the Spirit of Tasmania, we were welcomed by a greeting from Wendy bellowing who's making all that noise followed by lots of friendly banter and laughter. Thanks Wendy we will be back..

Awesome place with friendly staff who make you feel welcome :) there's so many things on the menu I still want to try. So need to come back many many more times :) just lovely :)

Try the full English. 4 stars. It would have been 5 but the division between beans and egg was compromised. I like this to be determined by me.
