Leslie Dam - Washpool Reserve

Great location, very peaceful with Lake Leslie surrounded by the hills. Gorgeous sunsets & clean facilities. $8 pp/night with dump point & water easily accessible. Stayed 3 nights with relaxed check out for large self-contained site. About 15 minutes out of Warwick & easy run to Allora. Caretaker stated the maximum price for a family is about $38/night. Definitely would come back.

For our first time there we were not disappointed with Washpool Reserve at Leslie Dam. Such a lovely spot, very clean and well maintained toilet/shower facilities lovely staff on check in. If you are into wildlife and birds like myself you will love it too. So many rosellas, pelicans, parrots and kangaroos to watch.
We also loved the fact that you can launch your boat into the water right from your campsite and plenty of space for the kids to ride around on their bikes.
We will definitely be coming back again.

Stayed here last month. A beautiful spot with lovely views of the water. Clean amenities. Close to Warwick which is an interesting town. The dam is an interesting place with lots of history.

Great camping spot. Quiet and relaxing. It can get very windy. Amenities (Toilets, Hot Showers) are worth the 14 dollar price per person, per night. Follow camp-fire rules. Self-checking. No dogs

The sunsets were amazing. Beautiful place to stay, we had the whole campground to ourselves right on the water. Lots of wildlife, super quiet. The amenities were super clean and tidy and the grounds were spotless. Definitely would stay here again.

What an awesome spot. Great view and clean toilet, shower and a dump point. Lots of animal and bird life and the evening stillness is just what the sole needs. Thank you Vicki for looking after this spot so well.

Love camping here so peaceful and the dam being full is spectacular to see the sun set over it. Hosts Vicki and Noel are wonderful and friendly.

Went to Leslie Dam on the weekend in our caravan to see if it had improved. Last time we were there was years ago it looked run down and uncared for. There seemed to be no caretaker, and the amenities weren't very well kept. We used to go there quite often before that. We stopped going there as we felt unsafe camping there.
When we arrived Friday morning, we extremely impressed how beautiful and well kept it was. It looked so inviting . The amenities were spotless with signage . We were welcomed by the caretaker who extremely lovely. We were made to feel very welcomed. Credit goes out to the lovely caretaker, for keeping the facility in a beautiful and well maintained condition. The SDRC should be very proud of what they have to offer the tourist and public. We will be back.

Great place to stay. Easy to book and site staff were lovely. Facilities were clean and well looked after. Looking forward to coming back in summer!

Beautiful camp spot right on the Leslie Dam, highly recommend for a weekend away

Bloody great $14 PP. Camped right on the waters edge. Warm showers, flushing toilets. Fires allowed. Beautiful little spot.

Affordable, powered sites, allocated fire barrels, very clean toilet and shower block, Toilet dumping point onsite. Lake activities fishing, boating, kayaking or canoing, camping supplies and wood available on site. Very quite load of track and animals

Beautiful place to camp, my little fellas are adventurous and there's alot for them to discover. Vicki is amazing and friendly. If you're looking for a great place to go. Try it. We will be back soon!

This is an awesome spot, so peaceful and quiet, nature at her best. The current caretakers work tirelessly to ensure the amenities are spotlessly cleaned and maintained and check several times a day to ensure they are as clean as they can be. Unfortunately not all visitors respect this effort and will spoil it for others. They have set the standards very high. They are so kind and very very helpful and want all their visitors to enjoy this special place. The rates are on the high side and will put some visitors off, the Council may want to review this if they want more people to take advantage of this beautiful Reserve.

Beautiful place great facilities very scenic easy drive from Warwick. No dogs allowed!

Love this place just spent 5 days and back in 4 weeks The caretaker Vicki and her hubby are awesome Toilet and shower blocks are clean and in great condition Water views and sunsets are the best . Great camping spots with power and water :)
