The Bloody Mary's were so good and a great drink with breakfast. I had the full diner breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection. I dont think I even left a crumb on the plate. The fiance had the bacon and banana and said the pancakes were delicious. All the staff were really friendly and the place just has a great relaxed vibe to it.

Beautiful food, lovely people serving. We had the steak of the day, kids chicken burger and fried chicken BLT with a few sneaky cocktails, can't speak highly enough of the place. Well worth checking out

Had a coffee or two here which have always been above par and possibly the best club sandwich in Australia. Staff are friendly and plenty of parking close by.

The food is so incredibly good you'll have to try everything.
The flavours and composition of every dish are thoughtfully and cleverly conceived and perfectly executed every time.
AND the best Margarita's in the world.

You know the food is good when you finish your lunch and realise absolutely nothing will come close for dinner so you order the same dish again to take away. Best corned beef sandwich ever! Beef melted in the mouth, the house made pickles were divine and rye bread fresh and lightly toasted to perfection. House made iced tea was fresh and tasty and the sneaky bites I had of my partners burger, fries and chicken all delicious. Will be back to try the club sandwich and some cocktails very soon.

First time trying this place and was pretty impressed. Amazing menu, delicious food and really attentive friendly staff. I'll be keen to try the cocktails and bottomless coffee when I'm not pregnant anymore ;)

Update 2024: been back a few times and every time the food is just amazing, cannot fault. I laughed at the review from the lady criticising the public holiday surcharge, she must have recently crawled out from under a rock as every single cafe/restaurant out there has the same policy.

Really lovely diner with great food. Had the BB Burger wich was one of the juiciest I ever had and the cherry coke, that looked like the cherry part was done in house. Staff was super friendly too.

Can't go wrong here. 4 visits, no misses. Corn beef sandwich, cheeseburger, JRS shake, coffee. Frankly, you can order anything from the menu and be delighted. Oh, I forgot to mention the Bloody Mary, with the fried chicken topper. Don't doubt, just try! Hope you like some heat!

I found this place while on the hunt for the best Bloody Mary in SA. We got the classic Bloody Mary and enjoyed it. We’ll have to come back to try the Bloody Mary with fried chicken and kimchi.

From my experience, ordering a fried chicken sandwich/burger anywhere is usually a bit risky. There is a lot of potential to be bland. However, the fried chicken burger at Dirty Doris was hands down the best my partner and I have ever had (and we’ve had a lotttt of chicken burgers). The fries were also incredible.

We don't even discuss where to go for breakfast or lunch (or the occasional Friday dinner) anymore, the answer is always Doris.
The food is incredible, the staff make you feel like you're an old friend, and the coffee is superb.
The hot chicken burger will change your life.

Love this place and looooove the food. Everything is so nicely and yummily presented. Table service, friendly staff and great relaxed atmosphere. The menu is full of different delights that fill your plate to the brim. So many tasty drinks on offer non alcoholic as well as alcoholic.

First time we came for dinner and it was SO good! Got a few fried chicken special starters, very crispy and delicious, $12 margs and the Kane’s special steak to share. We’re so full and happy right now!

Pulled pork sandwich was an absolute stand out! The corn beef sando was also spot on. Great beer and wine selection.

The milkshake could have been a little more fancy given the price. Like a syrup swirl on the inside of the glass or something?

Some teething issues with the service but it is early days and was a very busy Sunday.

Terrace seating over looking the creek and a wicked vibe inside. The food is high quality, house made, no generic food service ingredients here. Creative drinks and bottomless batch brew like a diner should. Owned by a local couple of chefs. Get around it, this will be an Adelaide Hills institution.

Lovely cafe with a shaded garden out the back. Solid coffee. Chicken sandwich was amazing!! And they offer gluten free. Will be back!

Smart little restaurant serving American diner staples with flair. The corned beef on rye - a toothsome cut of hot housemade (?) corned beef, covered in melted cheese with pickles on toasted rye and mustard is a faithful nod to the East Coast diner classic. Also recommended: juicy housemade burgers on soft brioche buns, fried chicken (comes hot dipped or with schmalz gravy) and the umami bomb of a seaweed cabbage salad (ask for a side of lemon if you require more balance... Or up the ante with a side order of Olasagasti anchovies - a tin available for an extra $16). You could spend a lazy afternoon in their leafy outdoor dining section trying everything from their excellent cocktail and boozy milkshake selection (line your stomach first - you have been warned). The Bloody Mary menu standout: "Reanimator" sees the clasic brunch beverage rimmed in chili flakes and garnished with their hot dipped fried chicken. Service is professional, efficient and with personality. Dog-friendly (on-lead - property isn't fenced). Naps after a visit recommended.

A wonderful unique experience, feels like you’re in Twin Peaks. An incredible menu with the best pancakes I’ve ever had.The service is attentive and pleasant. Coming back tomorrow for more.

We had some of the best fried chicken here & the pasta was also top notch. We went in a large group & all of the dishes where amazing no complaints.
we will definitely return to try some of the other items on the menu.

Best coffee in the whole area, lovely terrace by the creek, great food cooked with love (try Breakfast ramen, a long-standing favourite, and everything off the specials menu), interesting wine list, fab cocktails and the best house-made cakes and cookies. And a great crew too. What's not to love?
