Rival Brothers Mount Barker

All the ladies were kind and inviting, the cafe is clean and bright and the food was phenomenal, I also made a mistake while ordering and they happily fixed it for me even though I was willing to pay extra, we will absolutely be back!

Late lunch at Rival Brothers Cafe next to Spotlight in the Homemaker Centre, Mt Barker. I’m so glad this is open now. The best Iced coffee and croissant I’ve ever had.

Hot chocolate was fantastic and the food was excellent and presented well. Staff were very friendly and warm. Caitlin went above and beyond with exceeding my expectations. This was on the 9th of Dec 23

Couldn't recommend Rival Brothers Mt Barker more. Their brand new fit out is exactly what the hills needed along with their amazing hospitality, dietary requirement friendly menu, delicious food and incredible coffee which might I add, they roast in house down at their Cheltenham store. As an açai bowl lover, I can say I will be back for their acai bowls which they have on tap. Amazing stuff guys!!

Excellent coffee. Nice location by the linear pathway. The staff are all extra friendly which makes it even better! Would recommend to everyone.

Had the hallumi and fried mushroom burger was amazing, staff were friendly and accomodating to needs when asked. Decently priced and so crisp and clean

First time trying this cafe, since it took over the old cafe (Laratinga, I loved this place)
Not too bad, a bit of a hipster style cafe, light meals only. Iced coffee and chicken burger was yummy.

Fantastic food and really friendly staff. The tables needed a clean but they were very busy. Shame the back glass doors couldn't be opened.

Such a shame the new owners removed all of the nice murals on the walls and have made this place feel more like a doctors waiting room than a Cafe, subsequently the food and drink is about the same quality you'd find in a doctors waiting room too.

There were LOTS of flies on the front counter area, bacon and egg roll was bland and the bun was stale, Ham and cheese croissant was average, Iced coffee was pretty good, mango smoothie was bland.
Staff where not overly friendly.

Ordered pumpkin soup at 12.55 May 26th. After 25 minutes went to check where our order was. They said soon. A further 20 minutes. Soup not very hot. Complained to the server. Said they were short staffed. I suggested they should advise people when they order. Most unhappy. Noel.

Nice that the coffee is presented with a bikkie and sparkling water, but the coffee was terrible, worst ever, very watery.
