The Mandala Project

I attended The Mandala Project Mansfield L.E.A.D as a participant in 2019 and then as a flash mob teacher on 3 seperate camps... The Mandala Project is a nurturing, accepting & safe environment which allows the participants to not only meet incredible people & learn new skills but also discover their true worth and solidify their values! Anyone who attends this program is sure to thrive, and take these skills back into the community to continue inspiring!! Thank you Mel & Nicho! These experiences will live with me forever! :)

I had the pleasure of attending an expedition trip with Mel, my role as pastoral care, with a large group of 17/18 yr olds. The aim of the trip was to develop leadership, connection, accountability, responsibility and perspective as we independently toured a country and undertook physical and community activities.

Mel is an exceptionally organised and insightful leader, as well as adept and confident at leading considered individual and group conversations of real reflection and insight. This enabled the group to truly reflect on their style, approach and make the necessary adjustments throughout the trip to improve its success, and take away some invaluable leanings for the future.

She was also a fantastic person to be around, and I also felt I learnt an incredible amount from her guidance, counsel and approach. Thank you!

From my experience on the 2021 Emerging Leaders Summit with the Mandala Project, I walked away from this experience with a deeper understanding of myself, working in teams and many other leadership traits that are easily transferable into my future professional life!

It was a 3 days camping away from home. I was able to explore the other side of me. The activities and the project was also good. I would recommend it to other people.

I am constantly applying skills I learnt during this program in my workplace and home life.
