Great pub, good service and nice outdoor area. Food service was quick on a busy day and meals were very generously portioned. Broad menu with plenty of choice for everyone.

Great country pub in the lovely town of Rylstone.
We enjoyed sitting out in the garden with a cold beer and a great burger, and a tasty salmon dish.
Friendly service made our experience complete.

We arrived in Rylstone on the Picnic train with about 400 other people we had made a booking at the pub rang to tell them we were running a bit late was told no worries our table would be still there. The service was excellent considering the amount of people went to the pub. Our meal was served quite fast and it was very delicious we are going to drive back soon for another meal. So many warm fires great pub

Went there for dinner on Thursday night. Food was fabulous and modestly priced. The open kitchen is clean and the chefs & kitchen staff are very good and helpfull . Also ten meat trays were raffled which was fun . There is always a good happy vibe in this pub.

The Hotel was clean, had all of the amenities necessary and the rooms were very quiet; making for a comfortable sleep.
The Food served was of good quality and the service extremely quick. There was a good selection of local wines, and everything on the menu could cater for different tastes.
The staff at the hotel were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the owner Paul has a very friendly nature, providing a very positive environment.
If I ever decide to visit the region again, this hotel will be a place I would revisit.

Great secret spot and the atmosphere is just country chilled cool. The food was amazing had a steak , coleslaw & chips with a great local wine. Ticked all boxes and beyond. Highly recommend it.

A very welcoming Hotel. I absolutely recommend staying here. The fire in the public bar was awesome. I booked a single room for the night which was excellent value. The showers and toilets were very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with breakfast cereals, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, honey, etc. My only complaint was the dripping taps in the kitchen. I hate that many motels and hotels do not change tap washers. I loved being able to watch TV in a lounge and dining area especially for overnight guests. That was a bonus! Thank you for a great stay. 👍👌😎

Had lunch at the Globe last Tuesday. The food was great - tasty and large portions. The wine list excellent featuring lots of local wines. The service was good and attentive when needed. A country pub with taste and room. Very enjoyable.

Dropped in for a few beers on a 35deg day, they had a live musician playing classics in the beer garden, a bloody good raffle to raise money for the black dog institute and the beers are cold and well priced. Definitely good for a few frothies.

Don’t often leave 5 stars but here’s why. The power went out at around 6pm and the bar allowed tabs for drinks and cooked steaks for all of our group for $10 less than normal. They also came around with some sides for all of us. Amazing service. Went above and beyond.
