Stayed here for a night with a small group of friends. Great old pub, owners were very friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, showers hot with pressure, great food. Great night all round. Beautiful sitting on the balcony listening to the birds and wind while having a drink and a chat. Say hi to the dog for me

A must visit if you’re passing through!!

Amazing historical pub, with plenty of welcoming country vibes. Food is awesome, drinks are cold, and the owners are lovely - they even filled up our water tank for us!

We stayed in the FREE camping out the back of the pub, the location is beautiful and watching the sunset through the trees is magical. You can also book a room if you’d prefer the view of the little town from a balcony.

There is FREE 24/7 access to a hot shower, toilets, washing machine and dryer. Dogs are also welcome in the beer garden, and you can play your own music from your phone out there!

10/10 recommend staying or at least having a meal at this pub if you’re passing through.

We stopped here on way back from Esperance to Perth having passed through Dumbleyung previously. What an amazing pub and unique piece of history in the WA Wheatbelt. I love how the history of the building is celebrated as opposed to renovated :) Great family room with very comfy beds and lovely extra touches including a tipple of port. We watched the sun go down from the upstairs verandah. Wonderful dinner in the pub very much enjoyed after a day of driving. We were two families and was lovely how the pub owners made sure the kids were happy playing darts etc. Highly recommended stopover or place to visit while exploring. Would definitely stay there again.

Great country pub. The tables at the back on the green grass are a great place to have a pint of cold beer on a warm afternoon. Owners are friendly and welcoming. Also note there is free camping in the lot behind the hotel. Recommended!

Nice meals, reasonably priced. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great camp spot out the back of this old hotel with ample space and trees for some shade.

Best steak burger ever! Normal burger bun, seasoned steak, carrots, onions, beetroot, lettuce and recommend adding cheese and jalapenos! So very very delicious.

Lovely stay at this historic pub. What a gem of a place. The owners are renovating it and so far have re roofed it and redone the balcony. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom facilities are a bit tired and shared but the price is reasonable for a stay in this beautiful old building. Very friendly service and excellent meals! Thanks for having us in your family room. We loved it and your amazing town.

a stunning hotel from an era long gone. A beautiful Grande Old building, being lovingly restored and cared for by new owners. Bar service and food service is excellent, with friendly country service and smiles. Meals were delicious. A great place to explore for a day or a weekend. The Lake is well worth a visit too.

Beautifully maintained historic hotel, with so many antiques and interesting historical things to look at.
We stayed overnight and the accommodation was gorgeous.
The staff and service were an absolute delight.
We ate in the restaurant and dinner was sublime. The lamb chops and the T-bone steak were perfect!

After some intense touring of the south coast for a week or so we were looking forward to a good pub meal. My wife was looking forward to a good Parmy, I am always happy with a decent burger. We were not disappointed. Great value and well presented. Bonuses were our hosts who were very friendly and informative, and the memorabilia to peruse whilst awaiting our meal. Two thumbs up!

We had been traveling remote the past week and hadn't seen any news, the publican and bar staff set up the tv in the dining lounge for us to watch the news, top service... We camped out back of the G.O.D.I, heaps of space and shade with the toilets left open for us all night and hot shower in the morning all for free, meals and selection are very good. Staff and locals were very friendly. Absolutely worth the overnight stop, great community atmosphere pub.

An amazing out back find! The hotel is soaked in history, I wandered through building and found heritage information and residents history in every room. The staff were friendly and happy to chat, we had a great time. The rooms were very vintage and charming, with a balcony perfect for a morning coffee or watching the sun set in the evening.

Great place for free RV camping. The Publican is welcoming and entertaining as well as very knowledgeable on the history and places to see in the area. Food was fantastic as well as welcome coldies. We were also able to use the pub facilities including hot shower. Totally recommended.
