Ross Caravan Park

We loved it here. Stayed in one of the cottages. All facilities available, super camp kitchen....great management,soo friendly.... nothing too much trouble. Beautiful little heritage town with great bakeries and old pub.... loads of old beautful buildings ,excellent, and great value! Thanks so much!

A perfect place to stop with your motor home/caravan in Ross. The caravan park is right beside the river, next to the famous bridge and only a minute's walk to the shops in town.
Mike, the manager, was very lovely and helpful. The toilets and showers were spacious and very clean. The cooking area is a nice space with bbq, hot plates, microwave, toasters and kettles. Would definitely recommend staying here and looking around Ross, which is a beautiful and historic town.

Manger , Mike, could not have been more helpful in accommodating our group of six touring cyclists. The cabins are cosy, clean and comfortable. The park is clean and quiet , suitable for families and those wanting a peaceful stay. The location near the historic Ross bridge is lovely and the hotel and bakeries are a few minutes walk away. The camp kitchen and washing amenities were great. Highly recommended.

We had a large caravan which Mike helped accommodate. We had the intention to stay the night and ended up staying 3 nights instead, cause the not only the town was beautiful, the service from both Mike and Nick was fantastic, but the location was absolutely amazing.

Great little van park. One of the only ones we have stayed and all there washing machines and dryers are working. And only $4.😁 the guys went above and beyond as they didnt have a site big enough so joined 2 smaller ones so we could fit. Very funny layout though, could get more vans in with a redesign and they need it as it was booked out midweek.

We were welcomed so warmly by Mike and offered a choice of heritage cabins. What a wonderful job has been done in renovating and extending these historic dwellings. They are roomy, comfortable, spotlessly clean, light filled and warmed by a very efficient wall panel heater when the evening draws in cold. They are obviously much loved and it shows in the care taken in maintenance and cleaning. To top it off the nightly tariff is a steal almost, compared to many other Tassie properties we have used.....excellent value for money. You won't regret this gorgeous stop over.

Had a great stay at Ross Caravan Park. Very warm welcome from Mike. Room is great size, clean and very comfy bed. All great amenities for weekend getaway stay. Perfect spot to stopover between Launceston and Freycinet. Ross is a lovely and quiet town. Will definitely be back again.

We have been in Tassie for 10 nights lots of bookings needed to be made for our motor home holiday. The communication from Nick and Mike was next level from confirming our booking, sending a reminder with great information about what to expect and our wonderful warm welcome. The park was spotless, the camp kitchen well organised and clean. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much guys. Keep doing what you are doing. I will definitely book with you again if I have the fortune of coming back but in the meantime I cannot recommend you and your wonderful friendly little town enough.

We loved our stay at Ross Caravan Park. Mike was so welcoming, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We were blown away by how clean the amenities were, they were absolutely spotless and the camp kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful little spot on the river, we wished we could have stayed longer.

Really great value for money. The camp kitchen has all the required amenities (oven, stove, microwave, bbq, fridge etc) in a really friendly communal area. It's more suited towards travellers without children which is a great thing for those travelling without that want a quieter place to stay.

We stayed here and travelled out to Coles bay and it was a great midway location for day trips.
No taps in the kitchen or laundry have hot water but you can easily work around this with the provided kettles.

Only downside is it is rather close to a train line that you will hear honking when it passes through town throughout the night

Great friendly reception, good clean amenities. Free hot showers. Washing and drying facilities coin operated. Nice well kept quiet park. Highly recommended.

Our hosts Sharon and Mike were so lovely and got us a room ready in 30 minutes for a late walk-in, and for this thank you so much !! The room was just perfect and spotless, everything you need was in here, again thank you !

We had two nights at ross on our trip around Tas and the ross caravan park was the perfect place to camp we had a large unpowered site use of the camp kitchen free showers amenities were kept spotless Mike the manager was the perfect host very accommodating he made the stay better thanks for everything Mike keep up the good work . Highly recommend a stay at ross caravan park .

Mike was great to deal with. Very nice guy and they run a great caravan park. Amenities are always extremely clean. He even put our annex up when it was windy to avoid damage. Beautiful location in the heart of town ! After two weeks can Highly recommend 👌

We just love this little caravan park. Nice and quiet during the cooler months and because everything is so close you can stay hooked up. The facilities are always clean, as is the camp kitchen which has everything you might need. There is a new communal fire pit or you can have your own above ground fire. Mike is a fantastic host - nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

who went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. We cannot thank them enough.
The facilities were very clean and warm, with free showers and piping hot water, a great camp kitchen with everything you could need.
The park is just behind the main street, and very flat, perfect for my friend who has a disability.
We both have dogs, and they were made very welcome too

Ross is a very interesting place to visit with a significant historic background halfway on Launceston-Hobart road. As such the campvan is very well located and easy to find close to the center. Suited and clean amenities with a lot of options. Thanks a lot to the manager and his assistant for their warm welcome and for being very helpful when things are going wrong ! We recommend that location.
