Played golf ⛳ here, perfect little course that crosses the road and back for 9 holes, very good course

A large group of us had a meal. The food was excellent - fresh, well cooked, generous serves. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere family friendly. Great experience.

What a great town. It is quiet but has important aspects such as coffee shops and a supermarket. The resort is central and has all that one would want. The restaurant has a great menu, and the pokies area has tasty coffee. The rooms are very comfortable.

Good, comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting with our unit having beautiful views over the golf course and a very good size balcony. Waves bistro served up a lovely meal and their seafood crowded was delicious. There's also a Bottle-O on site as well as a very big indoor heated pool and gym.

Our group of 4 had a great time in the fairway apartment for the 5 days, Thanks to Leigh on the reguest for ground floor the only fault we found there was a couple of BBQ not working besides that would fully recommend

Shearwater Resort is an ideal base to explore the north coast of Tasmania where there is lots to see and do. The staff are friendly and the accommodation and facilities are excellent.

I personally loved the place. The pools are big, the spa is great, the sauna is relaxing. The food here is to die for. The seafood was AMAZING, and was cooked perfectly through and the drinks were great. I loved it so much. It has a great location for families right on the beach and the staff are friendly and polite. I highly recommend it

Friends were staying at the resort, units were lovely and spacious. Great place to stay.

Visited while staying in town. Blown away by the quality of the food. Particularly enjoyed the beetroot & goat cheese croquets to start and the duck! Very friendly service. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone!

The quality and freshness of our meals were amazing, cooked to perfection, especially the veggies - flavoursome and delish!
We had Tassie Rump Steak and Salmon Bowl. Coming back tomorrow for sure 😁

Food in restaurant was great. I used to come here years ago and was often disappointed with the food and menu, but today was most impressed. The steak special was awesome, ample serve and well presented. All three of us enjoyed it. Oh and when you ask for rare, you get rare (unusual in many restaurants)

Loved staying in the beachcom room overlooking the golf course. Nice short walk to the beach.
Golf course wasn't perfect and you had to bring your own set. Did not use the golf course in the end as we only had one set with 3 people and would have cost a bit.

Very clean , excellent linen bed and hair dryer, the apartment have good appliances, great internal space, great heater floors, very good showers.

Rooms a little tired and need maintenance. Comfortable bed, nice hot shower and good food. Happy friendly staff.

Five of us visited Shearwater on a busy Friday night. We hadn't booked however no problems securing a table. Extensive, varied menu including many specials. One of our guests had been unwell and consuming soup most nights. He had three to choose from the Specials menu which was very impressive. I had seared Tassie scallops (approx 18) presented beautifully in three shells, with pumpkin puree and salad. All my other guests enjoyed their meal choices. Overall excellent.

While camping in Port Sorell, we took the opportunity to book into your restaurant with a group of adults and children (22 in total). The food and the service was excellent. Your staff were very helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed the night. Some people had made comment to us that the place was becoming run down and not up to the required standard. However, for the record, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and hope to be back again on our next camping trip. Thank you.

I don't generally write reviews nor fill out a businesses feedback form but when I do it is when I've had an experience at one end of the extremes; it was either exceptional or utterly awful.

In this case I'm very happy to say that this was such a great experience i would even fly back to visit. I was even asked by one of the employees if there was anything they could have done to make our experience more enjoyable.

This is the definition of what proper customer service and exceptional delivery is about. The bar staff, waiters/waitresses, and chefs provide the proper pub experience and the quality was well above the par.

Owners/managers, we will be back to shearwater mostly because of you and your staff; please also give the man with that great beard at the bar a significant raise or at the least a pat on the backa, you were the point of difference that left me feeling our experience was special.

Regular use of the swimming pool as a time share owner. Pools and change rooms are always clean. Reception staff very helpful.

We had a great, relaxing week here. Lovely unit with everything you could want. Close to beaches, golf and the bistro. We used it as a base to explore to the west and east of Davenport. Fully recommend it.
