Tranquilles Bed and Breakfast and Catering

The rooms were very luxurious with a very comfortable bed and the ensuite was a good size. The breakfast was included with the nightly rate and was outstanding. The home made condiments, the home made bacon and sausages were stand outs. A must stay if you are in the area.

Amazing place to stay, so friendly & the breakfast was the best we’ve had our whole trip.
Bev was so accommodating & it was lovely to come all the way to Tassie & find as beautiful little B&B run by a family from our area of NSW. Would stay there again

How lucky we were to pick here to start and finish our Tasmanian journey! Hosts Bev and Martin are awesome! They can it do enough when you need something. When we first stayed here, we thought the breakfast was awesome, Martin gave us a lot of inside information about the area, what we can see and do etc. we came back after completing our Tassie tour, on New Year’s Day worrying about what to have for dinner. We were told that unfortunately there won’t be a cooked dinner but they would prepare a platter for us . Expecting a few cheeses and biscuits etc, we were given a feast of a platter! Home made goods, cheeses, fruits and meats! It was amazing! If you visiting Tasmania, no need to look anywhere else, Tranquilles B&B is the place to book and stay! Thank you both for making our holiday journey beautiful!

An exceptional place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was 10 out of 10 and the hosts, Martin and Bev, certainly made our stay a great one. Highly recommended.

They definitely went above and beyond to make sure their guests are having a great time exploring Tassie - they provided us with heaps of valuable local tips, and their freshly cooked brekkie is delicious!! You must stay here!!!! Bev & Martin have created a fantastic b&b. Hey were so helpful and thoughtful to reccomened the nicrst spots to enjoy in tassie. Felt like walking into a warm family home. Freshly made foods from the hosts, beautifully kept, SO MUCH character and wonderful gardens. I could go on and on. We will be back thank you guys so much we loved it, and will be returning:D

This would have to be one of the best BnBs we have been to and we've been to a few. Fabulous room and facilities, a breakfast to die for, friendly hosts and a great dinner the night we arrived. Definitely a place to revisit. Thanks Bev and Martin. You are doing a super job.👏

Have stayed here a couple of times already when on a business trip and will be coming for sure!
Very friendly people who make you feel like home without interfering with your private zone or being ober attentive.
Very clean and moderate sized rooms with all you need for a comfortable stay.
The service is above and beyond. As I'm not big on breakfast, I even got a lunch box packet to take with me.
The location is quiet but easy to find and only a short drive from port Sorell for some beach days and the best pizza in Tasmania. Devonport is also only a few minutes drive. So perfect if you're landing in Tasmania by air or sea.
This place will let you recharge your energy for your further trip. (If you don't get stuck here)

Lovely place to stay with very attentive hosts. Excellent food and beautiful gardens.

This place is amazing the owners were so inviting & helpful with any thing that was needed the food was A1 with the whole experience being 10/10 will definitely be back & would highly recommend to anyone that comes to the area

The hosts Martin and Bev will spoil you and make you feel very welcome. The home-cooked breakfasts are expertly prepared and presented. Evening meals are available upon request at a very reasonable price.
The rooms are clean and well-maintained.
The location is also great.
We would stay at Tranquilles Bed and Breakfast again.

Bev and Martin provide one of the best B and Bs in which I have stayed. (I’ve travelled extensively in Australia and O/s). The bedrooms are comfortable with a large bathroom, complimentary chocolates and cookies with a delicious cooked breakfast ( or a breakfast box in lieu for early SoT travellers)). Dinner is provided at an inexpensive extra cost with a good selection of wines. This is the third time my partner and I have stayed here because it is so homely and welcoming. We look forward to coming back.

I read reviews about the breakfast being worth the stay overnight. I was not disappointed. The host's home made pork sausages and home made organic tomato sauce was literally to die for.
Rooms were clean and situated in a nice location close to Woolies and other local eateries. Also conveniently located only a 15 mins drive from the spirit of Tasmania. Thanks guys for having me.

Bev & Martin are just wonderful we stayed one month ago , Loved it so much we are back. Most hospitable and the breakfast is delicious just make sure your hungry , home made sausages & bacon Yum.

We had such a perfect stay. Beautiful, peaceful spot. Wonderful facilities and the full breakfast was to die for. Thankyou, Martin and Bev - we are sure to return.

Excellence in every facet. Being coeliac and having to skip breakfast was no problem as I was given a magnificent lunch to savour on the boat the next day.

Awesome bed, amazing breakfast. Hosts were very welcoming and professional, room was clean, neat and tidy. Breakfast portions were very generous and we all had seconds.

Highly recommended. Very clean B&B, welcoming hosts. Lovely house and grounds. A great cooked breakfast with homemade bacon and sausage. We really enjoyed our stay with the new owners.
