Such a picturesque little place. The units were well maintained, very clean with heaps of space. The managers (I'm assuming) were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return - with my boat next time.

Excellent. Well run. Walk to boat ramp and bar/restaurant/convenience store. Even have fuel at competitive prices. Unit was in need of a deep clean at end of season, but otherwise clean enough and well supplied. Check-in is in separate building across road (by the park). Highly recommend for fishers, families and as a stop for Hinchinbrook trekkers. Excellent, happy staff add to the vibe. Everything you need. Gave this 4 stars at first, but after a bit more Queensland travel, realuse that it is a stand out, deserving the full five.

This place was really nice. Run by friendly people and it was right next to the water. Our room had a great view. The rooms were really clean.

I always love staying here. The rooms are immaculate, and having direct access to the water is worth its weight in gold. Cheers team, and thanks again for making it such a wonderful visit.

I've stayed a few times and used the minibus airport transfer. The apartments are very comfortable and the pool is huge and lovely. The pub has a nice atmosphere and very nice food and coffee. Most importantly, the staff is super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Hinchinbrook Resort.

Cane here a family weekend away from Townsville. The place is obviously geared to those here for fishing and boating, but it was also good for a quick trip away from Townsville. Villas are clean and well appointed, but are privately owned and the stocking of items like kitchenware varies. We spent a day in the pool, playing in the park and visiting Lucinda Jetty. I would recommend a quick trip, but 2 nights is enough without a plan for boating.

I will be coming back with my boat and enjoying the great boat ramp and easy access to Hinchinbrook Island.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Apartments are very clean and spacious. 2 levels, front and back entrance,
Undercover car space, lovely well kept gardens with tall palm trees and a beautiful pool , fantastic for both children and adults ...The downstairs level consists of the kitchen, dining room , lounge area and a small 2nd bathroom. There is seating on the front veranda facing the pool. Upstairs there is the main bathroom, The main bedroom with queen bed as well as a day bed and built in robes with an adjoining cosy veranda looking down over the gardens and pool.. Also a 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and built in robes. Very comfortable. All facilities at your fingertips. Shop , Restaurant and bottle shop right next door. Extremely happy with our stay. Owners were lovely and told us on our arrival that we could checkout of our apartment at any time on our final day at no extra charge. The only advice I would give people is to maybe take some mosquito spray . For a quiet , slow paced relaxing time , this is definitely a nice place to go. We will absolutely be going back there again soon .

Good fishing around there

The resort villas offer really comfortable, clean, convenient accommodation in a tropical paradise, overlooked by the mountains on Hinchinbrook Island, just across the channel. Mountain and island views from the balcony off the main bedroom. Ample parking for your vehicles and boats, and right next to the multi-lane boat ramp with pontoons. Good fishing right on your doorstep, and a short boat run to explore all that Hinchinbrook has to offer. After a full day on the water, it's so handy to grab a beer and a generous feed at the Channell Inn right next to the villas. There's also takeaway options, a store and bottle-o, and bait, tackle and fuel. Convenience central. Villas sleep 5, have full laundry, and #7 has a chest freezer as well. A great base for exploring all that the Hinchinbrook area has to offer, from fishing to waterfalls and swimming holes, amazing scenery, great food and local producers, brilliant Italian delis, and amazing wildlife. Just make sure you stay long enough to see it all... but you'll be back anyway.

Great atmosphere and the food was really great. Even the chef popped over to ask if all was ok, and no one does that any more. Highly recommend

The townhouse villas are very spacious and fully selfcontained.....great for the family. The restaurant has delicious meals with good sizable portions. The restaurant staff are beautiful and friendly.

Beautiful location, all the amenities you could need and very clean rooms, wonderful staff, incredibly well made food and drink, greatest value for money!

Allan, Kerry and the staff at Hinchinbrook Resorts have to be the most welcoming and happy people to accomodate you in such an iconic part of NQ! Stayed in the townhouse villas surrounding the huge pool which were fully self contained (big help!), spacious and modern. To top it off the restaurant served decent sized and delicious food. Best place to stay at for a legendary fishing trip, family holiday or even a romantic getaway!

Cosy cottage, fully self contained. Bring the RID as sandflies are on the chew dusk and dawn, but if you didn't expect biting insects at the mangroves edge, you aren't a Queenslander. Pool was magnificent, very peaceful.

Just beautiful area. Didn't stay. Good fish and chips.

Such a lovely casual, fun restaurant. One of the best places for a meal and it doesn't cost the earth 😁
