Queen Mary Falls Caravan Park

We'd like to thank Allan and his staff for their friendly and helpful hospitality during our recent three-night stay (Mon-Wed) in our caravan. The tranquility, great views, easy access to amenities, cooking in the fire pit, and entertainment courtesy of the local wildlife all contributed to a wonderful time. The park proved to be a great base for trips to local waterfalls and leisurely scenic drives around the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning tea at the cafe and appreciated having a wide range of gluten-free goodies to choose from. We've let our family know what a great place you have and we look forward to our next visit.

We stayed 4 nights here and really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place. A great place to rest, get away from the world. Take a couple of books and the falls around provide exercise, fresh air, peace and the great scenery. If you are taking the kids there pack games for indoor and outdoor , so much space to play. Camp host Allan was very helpful, always busy keeping it a great place to stay. Loved our getaway.

Thank you so much for the bird seed late yesterday afternoon. Our family enjoyed feeding the beautiful parrots who were still hungry. After a beautiful sunny day & glorious drive the walk to the waterfall as the sun was setting was a sight unseen. Always wonderful to visit.

Spent a night in a cabin with my son and grandson - a boy's only getaway. The cabin was great for us with enough space and well equipped. The amenities block and camp kitchen are well equipped and very clean. The park-like grounds are scenic and very suited to children's play. Bird feeding of rosellas and king parroys is another attraction for kids. And the impressive falls are only a short walk away. The management and staff are very friendly. I was very impressed that when a fortnight earlier I had to cancel my booking on the morning we were due to arrive because of illness I was not charged anything. We will certainly be back!!

We booked a spot over the weekend to try my new swag but on the way the heavens opened. The owners went out of there way to help and put us up for 2 nights in a cabin instead. Thanks alot for going over and above. We love this place as its very well priced and peaceful.

Beautiful location. Lovely camp kitchen. Hot showers. Not too big. All in all a beautiful camp ground. Kids and adults loved it.

We only stopped at the Cafe so can't comment on the rooms or the Caravan Park.
I must admit to having the best hamburger ever. It had everything a burger should have on it including beetroot & grated carrot. I added bacon but honestly it didn't need it. Better half had a homemade spicy nachos which he devoured. Sorry can't add a photo as we ate it all before thinking of other people.
The bird life and gardens create the perfect mountain atmosphere.
Staff were welcoming and friendly. Fast service even though it was busy.

This Green Lush Quiet Nature park is One of the Very Best going.
Superb location, Excellent Caring staff and Great overnight rates. Unpowered camping sites on lush green lawns. Powered Caravan sites with all amenities available, as well as more luxury self contained cabins of differing inclusions.
Very Helpful and genuinely interested Managers and staff. Situated opposite the Queen Mary Falls and National Park with Native Colourful Parrots in abundance and the ability to feed them also at your own sites. Wildlife of all types abound. Peaceful, Tall trees and fresh mountain air. It truly does not come any better.

Awesome experience staying at Queen Mary Falls caravan park. Friendly helpful owners, clean amenities and such a pretty peaceful spot to stay. The cafe had souvineers, bird seed for feeding birds, fire wood for sale, and great meals. We took our two caravans and were catered for as asked. The showers were hot at the end of the day. Wildlife were awesome to see. We were so relaxed , we booked another night. Thanks Alan and family, we will be back. Karen Neil David and Teresa.

This Caravan Park has everything you need Good clean camping ground, bird feeding and the cabins look amazing! I love my tent but the cabins look so good that Im check them out next time we go. The owners and staff were so friendly and made us feel like family. I highly recommend this place to everyone, from experienced campers to beginners. We had an amazing time.
I will definitely be going there again! It is such a beautiful place that you keep going back Trust me it awesome place you won't regret it.

We have been here before but since change of ownership it's just better and better . A truly serene magical place to unwind surrounded by nature and wildlife. We will be returning really soon and continue to frequent Queen Mary Falls Caravan Park for many years to come . Highly recommended for all !!!!

A lovely place to stay, really enjoyed the bush walking. The staff were fantastic and the food at the cafeteria was tasty.

I love staying here. The owners are so friendly and always happy to help. The scenery is amazing, and the waterfall is such a beautiful calming place. Whoever gets to purchase this amazing piece of paradise has pretty b8g shoes to fill. The current owners will be missed by all.

Honestly, I'm reluctant to review this place because I want to keep it to myself 😄. At first, I had low expectations regarding comfort and cleanliness, so I was prepared to clean and sterilize the place. However, it turned out to be clean and well-maintained. I loved our cabin; it had everything we needed, from tea, coffee, and milk to towels and bed linen for the big bed (you need to bring your own linen for the bunk bed). Additionally, they have a lovely onsite café where you can order and enjoy your food either in your cabin or at the café. Our kids loved feeding the birds so much, that most of the time we spent there was devoted to bird-feeding rather than exploring the falls 😆. We absolutely love this place and will definitely be coming back!

Great caravan park with friendly owners and staff members in the cafe. Great facilities and wonderful space to chill out and relax. We always enjoy our weekend getaways up to this caravan park.
Nice space to enjoy a camp fire at night and a walk around the falls track of a morning (before it gets busy).

Beautiful location, wonderful park and place to camp. Camp kitchen and bathroom facilities were great, and available when needed, never really had to wait even though we stayed over the busiest weekend, Easter.
Birds everywhere to feed, lush green surrounds, and the waterfall was a short walk, easy for the kids.
Great to have firewood delivered and coffee at the Cafe in the morning. A great place to camp if you want to experience camping or caravan, without it being crazy difficult. Just nice to get away and get the kids off, of electronics and running around.
The owners are fantastic, they helped us out of a real bind with another place, finding room for us to camp, when they were full. We're forever grateful for their kindness.

Perfect to meet friends with different needs re camping vs glamping. Cabins are close to caravan sites. Small and lovely, great food and service. Very sweet birds!

Lovely campgrounds, old but clean amenities, really hot showers, nice cafe with good food and coffee, easy access to falls and Condamine Rd river crossings. Fire wood reasonably priced and had enough smaller split pieces to make lighting easy. Helpful, friendly owners.

I have stayed at this family run caravan park @Queen Mary falls several times. Mark & Louise are very welcoming & hospitable people. Fantastic home cooked meals, the burgers are very tasty. I love seeing all the different types of birds, sitting around the camp fire at night is very relaxing away from city life. Can't wait to return again soon.
