Mace's Hot Bread

Open very early. The pies were delicious with tasty fillings and great pastry that held it all together to the last bite. A good size and good price. I usually rate a good normal (not gourmet) country bakery pie at 6.5 or 7.0 out of 10. These pies were a solid 7.5/10.

Stopped here on way through and felt like a pie for breakfast 😋 ordered the steak, chilli and cheese pie. It was so amazing I started get sad when nearing the end of it 😅 if your visiting miles it is highly recommended

Stopped over yesterday morning for smoko. WOW. Great square pies, full of yummy mince. The apple turnovers were great as well.

Stopped by this bakery thanks to the brown tourist sign on the main Rd. When I came which was an hr before they closed, they weren't doing anymore hot foods on the menu. Got the caramel cronut which was so damn good - cream tasted fresh, caramel wasn't sickening sweet nor sticky, flakey texture just so darn good. Coffee was adequate.

Read some good reviews so thought we would drop in. Very good chunky steak pie and cottage pie. Unfortunately, no apple turnovers ! Not to worry, my waistline could do without it

Absolutely brilliant!
I stop here every time I'm travelling through, my parents always ask for cream buns and I know why. Like everything else in the bakery they're fresh, a decent size and taste great.

I had a cracking pie and some delicious creamy/caramel filled pastry here. Everything tasted great, with the service being fast and friendly. Love a country bakery and this is another beauty!

Unexpected drop in to this bakery- thank god we did! Pies were as they were advertised and delicious, apple slice was FILLED with apple and the choc mint cronut was even better than it looked. We were sorry we were 130kms up the road when we finally ate them as we would have gone back straight away to buy more.

As a bakery, you'll expect pies, sausage rolls and sweet cakes. But this bakery also has spud fillers, toasted sandwiches and wedges etc on the menu. Stop by and have warming toasted sandwiches, coffee, cakes, pies, sausages rolls, wedges and lots more. Good prices, nice food and as we were sitting there, lots of locals and visitors were ordering there lunches and snacks. Very popular stop for travellers.
