Have used Nimbin motors services on a few occasions. They did a sweet job on our Ford Differential that was really damaged.

Their work is reliable and do fair regos, don't try and stitch you up for every minor thing.

This review is a rewrite of a rather angry version; but now I have cooled down from the injustice emotion and realised it was not a very productive review for helping people realise they SHOULDN’T trust Nimbin Motors with their vehicle. I have just picked up my vehicle from another mechanic who completed all the work Nimbin Motors should have done but didn’t - and as a result I am $300 worse off. The really galling thing about it was that when I went to pick up my vehicle from Nimbin Motors the mechanic lied to my face, gave me misdirection, and sent me home with a half-baked job and a sense that he had done his best. It was only when I pulled off the engine cover and started to investigate the problem myself that I uncovered their unprofessional deception and almost vindictive laziness/ineptitude. I wonder how many other people have suffered worse fates at the hands of this mechanic and hope that this review saves a few others from it.

In response to the owner: Your mechanic told me he didn't install the fuel filter because it would take two hours - in fact it only takes one hour (unprofessional and the uninstalled filter was left in an oily condition on the upholstery). He said he ran out of time because he was cleaning up the rats nest under the engine cover and fixing the damaged wiring. He said the problem about power loss must be the turbo. OK, I went home and popped off the engine cover and yes the rats nest had been cleaned and some insulation tape had been put over the injector wire (10-15 mins max), but as the photo shows the fuel temperature sensor wires adjacent to the injector wire which had been gnawed through had not been fixed even though no one could have missed the fact of it - and also drawn the obvious conclusion that this was the cause of the power loss. Now I have had the wiring fixed and the power loss problem has been resolved and the next mechanic installed the fuel filter in less than 1 hour. Your mechanic blatantly ignore the damaged wiring and did such a sloppy job that it seems either inept or vindictive to me. What else could it be?
