Amazing waterfall. Even if you go on a hot day, there are loads of shaded areas available to sit by. Quite a few people there but the waterfall had enough space for everyone to spread out. Was deep enough for a quick swim and also had shallow areas for just enjoying the water.

I almost didn't post on these falls because why would I want other people going to a spot just so beautiful. But shouldn't keep it to ourselves.
An absolutely stunning spot that I plan to re visit for a swim when the weather is warmer.
There's only parking for about 8 to 10 cars and little signage. Follow the dirt track along the fence line then along the river. You can hear the falls from the road.
Stunning scenery and a great spot or I should say multiple spots for a swim.

The best waterfall to swim at. So much to explore and such a short lil walk to get there

Few places but hardly anyone, we managed to park with our trailer.5 mons walk to falls. We crossed people barefoot with babies. With shoes the path was a little slippery and muddy. People were swimming. I would have definitely swam if I had my swimsuit. The prettiest falls we have seen where you can swim.

Stunning spot to relax, and swim.

The natural environment surrounding the falls here are truly magical. It is a really beautiful place with calming sounds of the natural world.

Unlike other falls in the area the surrounds and water aren’t freezing which is a plus 💗

Will most definitely be back :))

Recommend coming before 11am or after 3pm as it can get really busy and difficult to get a park/spot to sit :))

Lovely spot for rock hopping and sunbathing. With a small parking area, it could be a problem but there were several open spaces when we were there, though it was a winter weekday. Water is cold but not too cold to get in if the sun is shining and you're bold. I'll definitely come back with a picnic lunch.

Just beautiful. An amazing spot to take the family for a few hours or a whole day. The walking track is quite easy for all ages. Easy parking. Interesting to see how much water went through this place during the floods in 2021.

Next time we go we will pack a lunch and maybe some swimmers.

Sadly others have done the same and left their rubbish there 😞

Beautiful spot for a nice cool dip in the pools near the falls on a warm day. Entrance can be confusing, park the car then look left and a tight path with some signs will lead you about 100 metres to the falls. Keep an eye out for the tree nuts up high in the trees, a Danger sign there mentions that they can fall and can weigh up to 10kgs ! Also because it is a dense rainforest, there might be a python or two slithering around in the scrub, saw a big 2m one while walking in. Eyes down and up while walking.

It took us a bit to find as it is gated off and not very visible. It was raining when we visited so the track was muddy but it’s only maybe a five minute walk to get to the falls. There is a steep edge you have to climb down but it’s definitely well worth it. It’s a very secluded area but expect a few people there. There is a beautiful river that has that nice running sound. The waterfall isn’t as big as others such as dorrigo but it’s just as perfect. There’s also another little waterfall as well with a pond like collection of water. It’s surrounded by lots of trees and greenery which we loved. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely breathtaking. There are some branches you have to go around, to be expected after biblical floods like they had recently. Grateful to have been able to see such magnificent rainforest in my lifetime

My mum grew up at Whian Whian and swam at this water hole. I used to swim here as well. Many a great time when young

Bit of a walk through the bush to get to them. Not a lot of water when we were there. It was nice and clean though running water. Great quiet spot.

A great little hidden gem. Easy walk to the falls which were quite active following recent rain. Great for a morning away from the beach!
