McKeown's Rest Jenolan Caves Bed & Breakfast - Farm Stay

Kenzell farm is such a gem. We had so much fun camping on the farm and visiting all the animals. The animals are so well cared for and loved and the views are breathtaking. There was so much for our toddler to see and do, he had the best time. Jacqui the owner was so helpful and friendly as she gave us a tour of her farm. Will be going back yearly! Highly recommend this place!

Kenzell farm is such a lovely stay. Beautiful scenic views and cute animals, my kid really enjoyed interacting with the animals. Host Jacqui is very lovely and welcoming.
Rooms are clean and tidy, very easy to get to Jenolan caves, highly recommended to families with little ones.

Wonderful family farm stay. The view over the valley was stunning! The kids absolutely loved being on the farm and feeding treats to all the animals. Jacqui was so accommodating and lovely. The homestead was rustic and beautiful. It had a fully equipped kitchen and even had an indoor pool! Fresh farm eggs for breakfast! Perfect location to explore Jenolan Caves and Oberon. Jacqui had provided some apples for the kids to feed the farm animals. Be sure to bring some apples and carrots for the animals, it was the only reason the kids wanted to leave the farm to get more treats for the farm animals!

Such an amazing experience . We took our 6 yo granddaughter there for a farm stay. All the animals were accessible to us almost all the time. The host Jacki was so accommodating. We got to feed all the animals including baby goats and a Fawn . Such a quiet and picturesque farm. We had a large room with a ensuite. Indoor lap pool and spa. Food was aplenty and the animals were so friendly and affectionate. Highly recommended for a great and unique experience.

It's also a dream crashpad for adventures in the Jenolan Caves. PLUS when our car broke down, owner Jacqui was so kind to give us a lift home with the kids.

Perfect location, beautiful scenery and lots of friendly animals. I would highly recommend a weekend or a week camping here!! Our host was lovely and our kids loved being able to roam across the property at will.
We were also very close the Jenolan Caves ( I believe it was the closest place to stay without stying onsite at the caves - just a short 10min drive down the mountain).

Had an amazing day at kenzell farm .The scenery was so beautiful and the animals were even more beautiful, the kids had a great time particularly with the baby goats . highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed as you are able to get up and close with the animals and the owners were fantastic too !

First reaction to this place...OMG OMG OMG from all of us. Beautiful house to stay in, many many types of cute animals, waking up in the morning to the rooster 🐔 and watch peacocks walking past the door....it was beyond wonderful! Highly recommend McKeown's place. It has enough room to accommodate as many as 30 and keep everyone busy with beautiful views and lovely animals. We had a chance to talk to Jacqui and hear about her wonderful future plans. Thanks Jacqui we loved it, everyone was so amazed!

We loved the gorgeous McKeown’s Rest B&B in Oberon for a relaxing farmstay overlooking the beautiful valley. You will meet all kinds of animals, including llamas, peacocks, turkeys, miniature donkeys and much more!
Collecting eggs, feeding baby cows and playing with the animals. Farmer Jackie’s hospitality is second to none - we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to host our weekend stay. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay. We can't wait to return xxxx

Positively one of the most beautiful experiences for our family, especially the kids. To be surrounded by such serenity whilst enjoying the unique interactions with the animals was priceless.

Fantastic place to get away with kids! Our toddler had the time of their life exploring every aspect of the farm - we went on walks to the cows on the hills, we fed the animals from baby goats, deer, pigs, sheep, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits etc. There was so much to see and do, gardens to explore, it has an indoor pool as well, which we didn’t get to use as we were too busy having fun outdoors.

The house and room were both clean and spacious, the rooms have access to YouTube and Netflix which was handy to have, but in the evenings we mainly sat outside at the patio to unwind and immersed ourselves in the peaceful surrounding!

Last but not least, Jacqui was a great host, very friendly and full of information on the surrounding areas (for things to see & do), she gave us as much space, and as much opportunity to be involved on the farm as we wanted. She also prepared a fresh breakfast for us each morning with plenty of variety that easily accommodated our food allergies (celiac + dairy free).

It was the perfect escape out of the city and we already can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for the great memories xx

We had a wonderful getaway at McKeown's Rest and were so lucky that we woke up to snow the day after we arrived! It was absolutely beautiful!!

Jacqui our host was so lovely and the accommodation was clean, spacious and cosy. The underfloor heating throughout kept us so warm while we watched the snow falling outside. We also got to relax in the indoor pool and spa!!

The children adored the array of animals at the farm. They got to feed the cows and sheep, collect eggs, bottle feed the piglet and baby goats and cuddle the bunnies.

To top off the experience, Jacqui also had the children sliding down the snow laden fields on a makeshift sled that brought smiles and laughter all round.

We came from Sydney for the weekend. It was a pleasant 2.5 hour drive. We had a wonderful time at McKeown's Rest. The accommodation was very comfortable and it was fun to pat all the animals on the farm. As I use a wheelchair for mobility, I need good access and this place had brilliant wheelchair access. It had a roll in shower, very stable toilet with railing and plenty of space next to the bed to wheel up to it.
Our little dog Elvis even had a wonderful time and was allowed to sleep inside with us in our room. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. The breakfast in the morning was simple, healthy and delicious!!!

One of our favourite farm stay’s in all of Australia. The super friendly animals will most definitely bring a smile to your day. The team that are taking care of such a beautiful slice of Jenolan on 250 acres are warm and welcoming. Highly recommend Kenzall Farm be your next weekend away! From Fambam_in_our_caravan

Wow! We're in love with McKeown's Rest B&B. The whole experience was wonderful! Jacqui made us and even our dog feel welcomed from the time we arrived. Of course the alpacas, wombat, horses and feeding small deers were the highlight of our stay - we couldn’t get enough of them!

Highly recommend! The property is beautiful and has everything you need - relaxing lounge with an incredible view, clean and comfortably bedrooms with en-suite and comfy beds and plenty of wardrobe space, lap swimming pool and jacuzzi. And best of all, we could take our puppy along with us! Jacqui was an incredible host - very accommodating, great to have a laugh with and absolutely made it an amazing trip for us all.
