Cedar Creek Orchard

A lovely place to spend an hour or so picking fruit. Staff are super friendly and the persimmons are sooooo good. Make sure you wear some kind of boots if it’s been reading as it’s gets a bit slushy underfoot. The tractor ride to and from the orchard was really fun and the autumn leaves are so beautiful. Will definitely be back next season 💕

Had a great time walking through the orchard and persimmons today! Thank God for the break in rainy weather so much so that we can walk comfortably in the orchard and enjoy the experience! My 11 year old was so excited to compare the colour of the fruits and choose her favourites. We tried one on the spot and it was really sweet and crunchy. Sorry for those who prefer softer persimmons, you have to ripen them yourself at home i suspect.

Parking was really easy with ample parking on site. Staff was very friendly and approachable, explaining to us the difference in the two varieties available for picking.

All in all a very enjoyable day trip! 😁

Recently went persimmon picking at the orchard and had a wonderful time with the family! The drive was easy and we had chosen a great time where we were the first few groups to pick the fruit! The persimmons were vibrant, fresh and super sweet.

Loved how you could pop in any fruit you didn't want to buy at $8/kg into the orange boxes at the end of the aisles.

Also loved their cloudy apply juice!

We have our yearly persimmon picking for about 5 years now and the experience is always amazing, not only the experience but the quality of fruit as well. You can’t get good quality persimmon anywhere else than at cedar creek orchard. Every time we have a family member or friends who visit us in Sydney during the season we bring them here. Highly recommended

The best time of the year to visit, fruits are plentiful and perfect for picking, and for those enthusiasts photographers, the beautiful autumn colours of persimmon tree creates an amazing backdrop to your every shot. This place has became our place to go during persimmons season! Owner is friendly and quiet accommodating, we were half an hour late but he still let us in with a big smile!

Had a beautiful day for me and my family. My little child enjoyed to much to picked up the Persimmons. A lot of fruits shown on the tree and we picked up some, walk around the garden. Everything was well organised, from online booking to visit the garden,. Unfortunately, prices are bit high.

We had a great experience at the Cedar Creek Orchard. The drive to the orchard was beautiful, and so was the farm.

Our 2 year old loved the tractor ride, even though it was short. The entry fee is $8/person for adults. It’s best to bring your own reusable bags.

You can pick fresh peaches and purchase them by $7/kilo. The owners were friendly and they also run a small shop to sell jams, relish, and juices.

We had a great time and will return for the experience again!

Amazing farm! The fruit is soooooo fresh, juicey and tasty. The farm is nice and tidy, with loads of fruits to pick. No wastage on the floor which I love. The colour of the leafs are vibrant! And the tractor ride made it extra fun

I highly recommend this place! We went here to pick Persimmons and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere was warm and fun! The prices of their products were very reasonable too! I'm definitely coming back with my friends!

The best persimmon Cedar farm , so sweet. We go there every year 😁. Today rain we thought will be quiet but very busy. All you need is boot , raincoat .. so much fun for rainy day too . Enjoy everyone 😁🥰

Nice persimmon farm with beautiful views in Thirlmere! We had lots of fun ! A perfect choice for those who want a family day out! (Plus a visit to the NSW Rail Museum closed by)

Best peaches in this local awards winner. Nicely managed orchard, only 1.5 hour drive from Sydney that is convenient.
Large and sweet peaches, reasonable price and friendly staff. Love their apple juice as well.
Will definitely come back next year

Really fun experience with family and loved ones.

The booking was made in very last minute but the experience was fantastic.

We picked the white nectarines and peaches. All the fruits are juicy and super delicious with massive sizes and varieties.

We visited to the orchard with several times per year for different fruit season like persimmons or plums as well.

I visited Cedar Creek Orchard. I went to pick some persimmons. It was my first time to pick my own fruit. I thought it would be like, some leave fruit that not good size or not good for market sell. But I was wrong, the Persimmons are BIG😲, BEAUTIFUL🤩, DELICIOUS 😋

I recommend you to visit this place with strong bag or trolley🤣🤣🤣

In the farm, we will get to pick the most beautiful persimmon which we can see. Then we returned to the reception, scaled the fruit which we pick and pay for them. The price is market prices. It is different in everyday.

I had an amazing experience visiting this farm! The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel so welcome. I absolutely adored the two dogs, Sherlock and Missy. They were such sweet and friendly companions throughout my visit.

The farm itself was exceptionally clean and tidy, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the picnic facilities they provided, allowing visitors to sit down and enjoy a picnic amidst the beautiful surroundings.

One highlight of my visit was the delicious apple cider. It was absolutely delightful and left me craving for more. The farm truly knows how to produce top-notch cider.

Overall, I had such a fantastic time that I am already planning to come back next season. This farm is definitely worth a visit for its friendly atmosphere, welcoming staff, adorable dogs, cleanliness, picnic facilities, and of course, the mouthwatering apple cider. Highly recommended!

We come here almost every year to pick our own persimmons, their persimmons are always sweet and nice. They have 2 varieties.
We always enjoys the Tractor rides.

We had a great time picking persimmons yesterday although underfoot it’s very soggy from 2 weeks continuous rain. My 2 yr old granddaughter had her first persimmon and she said it’s sweet and crunchy.
