I booked in for a massage specifically with Ketie on 17 February (for 5pm). At 4pm that day, I rang to re-schedule (to 7pm) and was told that Ketie was not working (as I was previously advised) and instead, would be looked after by Apple. I was a little disappointed because when I made the initial booking, I specifically asked for the day Ketie would be working and made my appointment accordingly. However, I accommodated their change of staff and agreed to be treated by Apple.

When I showed up at 7pm, I was shown the treatment room by the receptionist and advised to get ready for the massage. After a while, a massage therapist walked in (whom I recognised NOT to be Apple) and it was then that I realised the practice had put me with a random massage therapist I had not requested for.

Not all massage therapists meet my therapeutic requirements and that is the reason I specifically indicated the therapist I would like to see when I made the booking. When I feedback this very poor customer service to the practice manager, she said that she would get back to me for a resolution. She didn't call me back and when i subsequently followed up on the matter, her staff, who picked up the phone simply hung up on me.

I understand the practice wants their appointments filled, but when clients make appointments to see specific massage therapists, they shouldn't be lied to and be assigned a different therapist than whom they have requested (and subsequently had to pay) for.

I am hopeful the practice manager might still get back to me about this matter. I will update this review accordingly, if that happens.
