Yallingup Forest Resort

Had a lovely stay here. The location is fantastic, nestled quietly between Dunsborough and Yallingup and only 5 minutes drive to the Caves hotel in Yallingup. There is a playground and pool which is great for kids. Cabin was neat and well equipped. We even had a pair of friendly Kookaburras visit us each evening.

Our experience was amazing, starting with the customer service by the owner to the location of the resort and facility itself. Nice cozy swimming pool, bbq area and monkey bar/kids play area. Room was spacious with fit in fans. Might need to consider adding aircons which would be great especially in summer. Would definitely be back and highly recommended.

Very close to Dunsborough and a few minutes to Yallingup hotel and beach; spacious cabins in quiet wooded location. Fairly priced and ideal for families or groups. Very good phone and data signal and speed which is rare in the rural MR region. Not luxury but homely. No aircon but fans are great in early summer, although some might struggle during heatwaves.

We had a perfect week in Yallingup and surrounding areas. The resort itself was beautiful. We took a night time walk on the walk trail and saw a possum and an owl. The playground was great for the kids. We had everything we needed in the self-contained unit including a full oven with all required items in the kitchen. Washing machine was very handy also! Sufficient heating which was definitely needed this week. Bed linen was all clean and fresh. Have no complaints at all! The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Great location - close to everything but still far enough away to feel like you’re in the bush.
The chalets were clean, tidy & had everything you would - spare blankets, heaters for the rooms & living areas, the kitchen is equipped all you would need is your food.
Beautiful surroundings.
Will be a regular holiday spot for our family.

Great place to chillout - peaceful and relaxing. You get the occasional kangaroo, magpies and kookaburra visiting you on the balcony. We were in the 3 bedroom chalet and it has everything that we need. 10 minutes to Dunsborough town - very convenient. Accomodation is clean.

Tonight is our last of 5 nights here. It was a home away from home.The chalets are beautiful and well maintained. Every thought has been put to make sure we were comfortable from the comfiest beds and pillows to the heaters, diffuser and shampoo conditioner and even cooking oil .We have stayed at many places and no one have offered such amazing service. we also had the fastest internet service.

Lovely set of clean chalets nestled deep in the forest near Yallingup, but also really close to Dunsborough town centre.

You know how many places you stay, you have to crawl under tables or shift furniture to get to a power point in the bedrooms? Yallingup Forest Resort is not one of those places - there was an extension cord peeking out from under the bed, making it easy to recharge the phones while recharging body and soul.

We had such a great time! The place was clean, the facilities excellent and we were surrounded by beautiful bush. We were there in winter and the chalets were lovely and warm. Great location in-between Yallingup and Dubsborough.

easy efficient check in and the chalet was very comfortable whilst a little older style it had a great feel. All rooms very spacious. Peaceful location overlooking many trees housing kookaburras and other birds. In fact that is the only sound we heard!!

Great service, very tidy and comfortable rooms and a great location with kookaburras in the evening and kangaroos in the morning.
We definitely come again!

Just keep in mind to never feed the wildlife!

Beautiful spot for a quick family holiday. They were so helpful and able to accommodate us at short notice with a 1 year old, including loaning a portacot and high chair.
The location is perfect - close to the town, beach, wineries and tourist spots.
We will definitely return.

The couple who run the resort are so lovely. The cottage was clean and has everything you need. The bed was comfy, the water straight from the tap tastes great (rain water) so we didnt need to use the water we brought with us.
The only trouble with our stay was that it was so hot the week we stayed and the cottage has no aircon only ceiling and pedestal fans.
If you stayed in winter they have portable heaters for the bedrooms.
We had an issue with a pedestal fan which was broken, called reception and they had a new one for us in 30 mins.
The accommodation is nice and close to all the attractions in the area but the property makes you feel like you are miles away. We had some friendly Kookaburras who came and sat on our porch each day.

This is the 2nd year we have called these great chalets home for holiday! It has been amazing every time. The chalets are beautifully clean with everything you need. I love cooking and there were even a lovely platter and a teapot!!! The linen and towels were brand new! We have had excellent service from the owners and staff both times and I can only praise them for running such a wonderful resort so well. We look forward to seeing them again next year.

Absolutely beautiful cottages. We stayed 5 nights and it was amazing the playground is awseome the serentity and the staff are lovely!!!

the king size bed was amazing slept my partner and 3 year old and I comfortably.

We saw so much wildlife from our front door it couldn’t of work out better!!!

Very peaceful. Houses are set in natural bushland, surrounded with beautiful trees.
Our 2 bed apartment is very clean, with fully equiped kitchen, rooms are spacious and bed comfortable. Fans and heaters provided making it warm and toasty on the cool nights.
The WiFi single and speed is awesome!!
Only thing is the TV does not have inertnet connection so you will need to bring your own HDMI / chromecast connections if you want to watch streaming services.

We had a big group of 16, spread across 4 chalets. Absolutely perfect spot for our group!!!! Aged 2 to 84, and everyone was happy. Great hosts, well equipped chalets, had self catered meals at the resort as well as eating at many of the spectacular places nearby. Highly recommend!!!

We purchased a coupon and I was a bit worried about what we would get for the price.... I was pleasantly surprised! The chalet was very clean and had everything we needed. We stayed with our 4 & 5 year olds. We were welcomed with a friendly greeting and a map of the area. The kids got to see a kangaroo with a joey and kookaburras and magpies visited us on the last day. A relaxing family stay.

Awesome accommodation in the middle of the forest. Self contained houses with adjoining walls. Great for the kids with swimming pool, playground and most of all, bushland to explore. Make sure you have a night walk and checkout the possum high up in the trees. Don't be dissapointed if you dont see them as they are aure to visit in the night. Only ten minutes from swings and roundabouts for lunch and five minutes from the country animal farm for the kids.
