BIG4 Hobart Airport Tourist Park

This is a nice modern & well presented park so close to the airport but surprisingly very quiet. Sites are good size & cabins are modern & well stocked. Staff are very friendly & helpful. They have a free airport shuttle too. Great position if needing the airport or to base yourself here to explore Hobart & surrounds. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend.

Love this park, stayed many times and it always feels like a second home. Welcomed at reception by Amanda, always friendly and full of local knowledge. Well run park with improvements happening all the time. Emma and her team are a credit to the BIG4 brand.

Great holiday park for the family. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Our cabin was very comfortable. Aircraft noise is to be expected, however we did not find the noise intrusive during our stay, it certainly didnt keep us awake. Staff were excellent, The kids playground area and jumping pillow were clean & well maintained

We had our van so booked a site. This park is very clean, tidy and well presented at all times. Credit to all involved.

My biggest stress is getting to the airport in good time. This park was recommended by a friend and I'm so happy that we took his advice. Super close to the airport, no worries or stress about trying to navigate traffic. Clean rooms, super comfy good sized beds. A walk to a lovely fish and chip supper and a walk to a lovely breakfast buffet. Freindly and helpful. 10 out of 10. Will be back.

We stopped over one night before returning our campervan close by. The facilities were excellent, including clean amenities and hot showers. The park is close to the airport and only a 15-minute drive to Hobart.
More than 1 key for the shower/bathroom block would be helpful for those in campervans, as you need to wait for others you are with to return so you can take the key to get in.

Stayed here for the weekend with my girlfriends to use as a base for my hens weekend! The cabins were exactly what we needed. Perfectly clean, great value for money and a very ideal location when you're flying in and out in a short period of time.
Will definitely stay here again. :)

Ideal location for a stay with convenient access to a service station and Subway nearby. Spacious bathrooms, ample play areas for kids, proximity to the airport, rental van/car services, and a complimentary airport shuttle make it a fantastic choice.

A fantastic holiday park for the family. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Our cabin was spacious and very comfortable during our stay. While it's close to the airport, aircraft noise is to be expected, however we did not find the noise intrusive during our stay. Staff were excellent during our stay. There's free WiFi, while it's not fast it is sufficient for web browsing and basic video streaming (provided the resolution is kept around 720p). The only real negative was the cabin TV, the local channels reception was spotty and there's no smart TV/streaming capabilities, so we were down to sharing a tablet/phone screens amongst us. The kids playground area and jumping pillow were clean, also well maintained kept the kids entertained.

Overall it's great value for money and well recommended for those visiting Tassie.

Good place to stay if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle

I can't thank the very friendly staff enough for our first experience with Big4. Everything we requested for three children under five during our stay was in place. Our Cabin was very clean, warm and inviting. The children's playground was a big plus, especially while waiting for transport to arrive. All round, we were very happy with our stay there, and will definitely be coming back again.

Air craft over head but not a problem. All great facilities with cement parking with grass beside.

The BIG4 tourist park is by far my best stay experience in Tasmania. I booked 4 different places including Airbnb, normal b&b and normal hotel, and I really loved my experience at the BIG4 tourist park.

The 2-bedroom cabin comes with a bathroom and a small kitchen. The bathroom comes with toilet and shower, and basic soap / shampoo/ lotion. The kitchen comes with a fridge, microwave, stove, kettle, toaster, cups and dishes. Tea and coffee bags are also included.

The bedrooms are nice and clean with individual doors. Mattress is pretty nice & firm. There’s a small dining and living area too. The cabin is also nicely air-conditioned.

The price is on par with the other hotels but the place is much nicer. It’s nice and close to the airport for an early departure. Check in and check out instructions are easy to follow. I highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Hobart.

Love this place. Clean, convenient and wonderful staff. Quiet location, even though it is next to the airport. I’d definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here several times over the past 2 years and sometimes for extended periods. Emma and the staff have been exceptional. They have always gone above and beyond our expectations with their kindness, flexibility, friendliness and everything else. The park, ammenities and grounds are always clean and each time we visit, it’s like coming home. I couldn’t speak more highly of the park but in particular, Emma.

One of the nicest cabins we have ever stayed in. After a long flight the cabin was warm and cosy. Best sleep ever.

I will definitely be back, best experience i’ve had at a park !!
