Meckering Rose Garden Overnight stay area

Rose garden and overnight stay area just beautiful. large area to park Caravan and stay over night amenities very clean. The Camera Museum is a must see.

Stopped here to make some lunch. Clean toilets and bins available. BBQs and picnic tables also. Lovely spot!

Great credit to the town, big area with toilets and history of the quake.

It was a nice overnight stopover. The roses were all blooming. Beautiful. It was a good base to explore the earthquake sites and to explore the surrounding areas.

Great overnight stay, toilets were relatively clean, slight noise from the road (but to be expected) beautiful gardens and play area, would highly recommend.

Top marks for a little town to cater for caravans. We always spend money in these places so they will be there next time we come through.

Roses we're in bloom and always a good stop over for us. Wikicamps say 48 hrs stay but sign when entering is overnight only.

Good overnight stay allowed 24 hours, public toilets and petrol station few meters away.

Nice spot to overnight at. Some good work refurbishing the area, lush green grass around the bbq and rotunda.
Pity the mentioned exhibit of piece of earthquake damaged pipeline is not there. Disappointed the electric bbq out of order.
Interesting location to spend some time walking around the old township destroyed in 1968 by the earthquake.

There has toilet and garbage can, but the grill is not clean.

Great place to stay or just pull up to stretch legs...servo across the road. Clean amenities and clean area.

Great overnight stop with clean toilets. Although you do get a lot of truck noise from the highway.

Very nice rest area. Clean flush toilets, dump point and water for rinsing. Not sure if it's potable. Small donation requested as this rest area is run by volunteers.
