Smooth experience with everything from getting the car to returning it. I even got a car swap after my first car got a flat tyre. Everything were efficient and up to the mark. Special highlights were Luke , David , Jodi and a Srilankan origin lady (apologies for not getting her name). They are all brilliant ppl with a helpful attitude. Definitely will be using AVIS in future also.

Never had a problem with AVIS. The service was fine, the car was clean and had no issues. The drop off process was quick and easy. It was raining though so got a bit wet as it’s not undercover.

We had a great experience with Avis from the moment we picked up through till the moment we dropped off. Stuff were very happy and explained all our options in terms of excess payments and even about what we needed to know before going to Bruny Island. Drop off was easy too.

Don’t know why there are complaints - good service, good car and no extra unexpected charges that some people complain about. Probably boils down to complying with the rental agreement and returning the car with a full tank of gas.

Great service from Dipa when I collected my car was given lots of options and she took care of me when I returned to car too. Thanks to Bruno for fixing a billing issue before I got on my flight - awesome team!

I booked a hire car and saw some of the reviews and was a little worried, but what an amazing team. I was served by a lovely Asian lady who was most helpful, she even helped us with our bags to the car, I wish I had her name because she was a true gem and Avis should be very proud of her. I actually got a newer car, Renault Black Koleous, which was gorgeous to drive and low kms and upon returning the car there was a lovely gentleman waiting who did all the relevant stuff for our handover. Again if I knew his name I would be writing it here. I'm sure both staff after reading hopefully know....honestly they were great and when I come back I will be using them again. I washed the car prior to returning as I always believe in giving back how it was given to me. Thank you Avis Hobart Airport and your gorgeous team members who helped me with everything...Jeneen

Did an online booking for a car in Hobart during the June 2018 period. The process was painless being an Avis Preferred member, with the keys and rental voucher all prepared in advance, so only collection was needed. The cars were parked a short walk away in the rental car parking lot, but was easy enough to find. Avis gave a free upgrade to a Toyota Camry that was clean and working good, no major problems experienced. Returning was just as easy, with Avis staff at the parking lot picking up the keys.

Upgraded my vehicle free of charge. Super friendly people on arrival and when I dropped the keys off. Were on for a chat and recommended me places to go in and around Hobart. Clean vehicle. Could not recommend any higher.

My partner and I rented a car from Avis Hobart on a recent trip to Tassie. They provided the cheapest rates from the comparison we did, on arrival we were also upgraded for free. Near the end of our trip my partner and I both got Covid, the team at Avis organised to collect the car from our Airbnb, they did not charge us for collection or the additional days of hire and they were very understanding of our situation. We couldn't have had a better experience with Avis Hobart Airport.

We booked a car from Avis Hobart airport and had it for 1 week in our road trip in Tasmania. It was a new Kia Cerato, very clean with low mileage. The experience was much better than what we expected. Picked it up fast and returned it without any issues. Everything went very well and totally satisfied.

Avis makes car hire and rental easy, thanks to a wide range of different options to choose from. From Suzuki Swift and Kia Rio or similar economy and compact options, to Toyota Corolla or Kia Cerato standard and intermediate models, right up to full-size Toyota Camry or SUV options, there are many vehicles to explore in the range.
