Europcar Hobart Airport

Another terrific Europcar experience. We loved our car (a Coupra) and were so very grateful for the upgrade.

Easy to book, pick up and return. Cheaper rate than competitors and the car we were given was a fantastic little Suzuki Baleno. It handled really well and negotiated the hills and winding roads in Hobart like a dream.

Visited during the busy Christmas period of Dec 2023. Despite the rush, the car pickup and drop off process was seamless. I upgraded my car and purchased zero excess cover and the customer service executive was excellent explaining all details, charges and gave suggestions on best suited options. The Audi Q3 car was in excellent condition and we drove around 1300 Kms hassle free. I was also given a grace period of an hour on the day of the return without any additional charges. The rental counter was at the airport exit and the pick-up/ drop-off bay was a quick 2 min walk from arrivals.

Trying to make a change to an existing booking, but so far mails get ignored for over a week now. Even your customer support from the mainland isn't getting an answer.

Kindly check your mails and reply asap.

Finally the booking was processed as requested thanks to a competent employee. Why they still ignore even internal mails here in Hobart is a mystery to me....

Staff helpful.car nice very new and clean. We had a Mazda was energy efficient.

I hired a car with Europcar for 5 days to explore Hobart. I asked to include a car seat for my son. Everything was good and staff friendly and helpful. We no issues and I would book with them again in the future.

Our experience was smooth and good. Not long wait time to organise the car, the car was what we expected and was in good working order. All went well, would recommend.

Had a good experience renting through Europcar at Hobart Airport.
It was my first time renting through Europcar and I was a little concerned that I would feel pressured to purchase add ons at the pickup time. This didn't happen which was good.
One slight thing is that I booked with the understanding that i was booking a Hyundai i30, but I got a Ford Puma. It is no big deal but in terms of performance and safety features, an i30 is far superior.
Overall a positive experience and I will have no hesitations renting with Europcar again.

The process was smooth with no hassle.
The car was literally brand new (2019 BMW 330i) with only ~500 on the clock.
It was a true value for money experience.
I have hired cars from this company a few times in Germany, Switzerland and in Hobart and every time they impressed with their cleanliness of their cars and the cost associated.
Won’t go anywhere else.

We had a little Suzi B to travel around. In hindsight woyld go for something with a bit more oomph, especially for hills and overtaking. That is what we paid for and that is what we got. All good though and big enough for 2.

Pick up and drop off process was smooth. The car we received was a small but practical Suzuki car. The car looks very new with only 8,500 km on it. But next time if we are in Tassie again, we would definitely rent a SUV instead because of the amount of time driving in it! Otherwise the experience with Europcar is excellent. There is also a staff stationed at the return point to check the car when you return it.

Staff stayed back beyond closing time after our flight was delayed, then allowed us to keep the car for and extra 6 hours when our return flight was changed on us - thanks Europcar Hobart.

Europcar Hobart was quick and painless. Walked right up, dropped my name, got my booking confirmed and carded, got the key, walked out for the next week. On return, it was a quick drop in of the key and got my invoice via email within hours.

It was easy, absolut friendly, super nice employee and a great car we got!

The Customer Service Officer assisted us at Hobart Airport 4.30 pm 23/10/21, we arrived from Perth, WA.
He recommended the mitsubishi Pajero, which was perfect size for us, 4 passengers plus luggage. He explained everything in full , including the insurance and return of the vehicle. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this company and the employee that served us was knowledgeable and very curteous. 10/10.
