To say that this place is a Gem that's off the beaten track would be a severe understatement. Its the kind of place that you only know of if you've got that Asian friend that knows someone who knows someone, etc. It's a family heirloom treasure map to a gastronomic Indonesian meal you will love, especially if you enjoy strong SEA flavours.

The menu primarily revolves around chicken and payment is cash only. If you want the extended menu, call up 2 days prior. I wont say much else since it will deprive you from feeling like Indiana Jones. Suffice to say that if you dont have a semse of adventure, this is not the place for you and you should probably detour to Hungry Jacks in the city.

I cannot recommend this place enough and would be surprised if Adelaidians even knew about this place. What a Gem.

One of the best Ayam Goreng i had here in Adelaide. We had Ayam Penyet (Fried Chicken Maryland with a good spread of chilli paste), Ayam Goreng (Fried Chicken Maryland - wonderfully done) and Beef Rendang (beef stew with chilli). however, they are only open in the evenings and it is no restaurant, it is a cafeteria in a student hostel, Bradford Lodge.

Obscure cafeteria for student lodging that serves a good and affordable range of home-cooked Indonesia meals around the $10-12 range to dine in or take away. Public can enter the dining room by buzzing at the entry.
