What an amazing Shop! I gave Sue from Semaphore Fine Art Frames a hard job as i wasn't sure of the exact look i wanted , not only did she patiently navigate me through many different frames, Sue came up with a concept that is different and looks sensational. My whole family are so pleased that our art looks even better than we could ever hope for. All four are hung proudly on our wall already. Thanks Sue for always delivering perfection! Brought in a Japanese tegata, a handprint with calligraphy, and the owner had lots of very good suggestions for the frame and mountboards to compliment the work. Completed it within a week and it looks great. Also, I grew up as an artists with a relative who was a framer and I was taught the signs of good workmanship: corners cut in mountboard finish at the corner without overextending (and not just simple one square), corners of frame meet evenly without tears in the wood, taping at rear flat without bubbles or creases, and hung with solid fixtures and wire or double string. Ticked all the boxes. And for this just over $100, which is a good price for the work. Good framing is an art.

My mother & late grandmother use Sue from Semaphore Fine Art Framers for at least 20 years, and all framing was done with love and care and with help from Sue in regards to what frames to use. I would recommend her to anyone who asked, as she is a local lady and we all should support our small businesses.

Most amazing customer service. Did a great job and a real passion for framing and art. I never do ratings but this service was far beyond expectations it was the least I could do. Top job.

Sue Blue is amazing she has a great eye for detail if you are not sure she guides you and the results are truly amazing and her quality of wirk is the best i have ever found 😊 plus a wide range of art wirk to buy and really funky mirrors thanks Sue always a pleasure

BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT & BRILLIANT

Very nice lady but she does not do what you ask her to do. She framed a guernsey for me years ago but with the wrong side of the guernsey on display. Second attempt with the guernseys arms in the wrong position. Other items with tape insight hanging over the edge of the frame. Then the tape comes unstuck almost straight away. Very poor eye for detail. A five year old child could do better!

On Mother’s Day I got our 7-month-old son to crawl and walk around on a curtain, my wife loved it and it looked amazing.

Being her first Mother’s Day I decided to get it stretched like they do with canvas paintings so we could hang it on the wall.

It ended up costing over $325 but this was not a problem as at the end of the day it was something we loved and want to keep it forever.
Unfortunately, the painting was not stored correctly and was walked over while face down on the ground as per the photos.

This changed the appearance of the painting, this made us sick in the stomach that someone we trusted to look after our painting disrespectful walked all over it.

We were able to store it, transport it and deliver it to them without damaging it.
I took steps that included waiting for a car park out the front and for the rain to pass before taking it inside and they could not even look after it inside of their own shop...

I always try to support small SA business but Semaphore Fine Art Framers at Semaphore South Australia 5019, is not a business I can support.

To disrespect and walk all-over someone’s artwork is unforgivable, just because it was painted by a 7-month year old doesn’t give them the right to treat it like rubbish.

To my wife and I there will never be a painting move valuable than this one NOT A SINGLE ONE!

Please all think before considering Semaphore Fine Art Framers at Semaphore South Australia 5019, as we don’t want anyone else to be us upset as we are.

Totally ruined a very important artwork painted by my Grand son for his Mum. I was there watching an helping while he played in the paint and made his masterpiece. OK - it wanst an expensive artwork but it was special- and actually quite eye catching - until it was returned from this shop totally ruined. I used to recommend Sue but I wont from now on. This was a precious gift and was totally disrespected.
