Great GPs & RNs need to book in advance. Otherwise, call at 8am to be triaged for the day

Has always been good to me
Doctors and reception always been understanding and patient
Wait times are reasonable
Just sometimes hard to get appointments quickly (within a day or two)
Cannot think of anything negative to say

Was reluctant to go to the clinic after reading the reviews, but found it to be a nice and friendly clinic, we got 2 appointments on the same day and the receptionist was friendly and so was the doctor!!

it can be a 3 week wait to get an appointment. but new doctors are coming so hopefully this will improve. the reception staff often put you hold for quite a while and seem a bit lackadaisical at times. overall though, it's a pleasant place and they have a drinking water available, which is a big help when you are feeling parched and stressed. it's usually easy to get a parking spot on-site. but last week i had to park out on the street. the clinic seems to be very busy at the moment.

Friendly staff, no long waits, spacious parking.

Good thorough Drs, however as shown by others , the reception needs work.
This is in direct regards to the pugnacious attitude and performance by Lisa.

There seems to be some issue with the handling of Lisa’s perceived power dynamics and general narcissism within the medical front of house environment. Being subtlety rude yet blatantly attempting to be condescending towards patients upon any given exchange is not how to operate. She does this by asking obvious questions with vague terminology to then put it back on you (the patient) that you’re silly.

This covert narcissism is not appreciated in a healthcare setting when people are sick, vulnerable and rundown.

For the clinic I’d suggest a Myers Briggs test and HR.

Not good.

Disappointed and Disrespected: A Frustrating Experience

I was delighted to finally have an appointment, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite traveling over an hour for my 11:30 am appointment, I was kept waiting until a staggering 1:30 pm.

To add insult to injury, I had to leave without seeing the doctor as I had to pick up my child from school. The lack of communication and consideration from the staff was appalling. Not a single apology was offered, nor was there any courtesy extended to inform me of the doctor's delay.

I expected professionalism and respect for my time, but instead, I was met with indifference and disregard. My experience was not only frustrating but also deeply disappointing. Regrettably, there are not many other options around the area. I just hope that my condition doesn't deteriorate due to their neglect.

We have just moved from Canada to Australia. My husband and I both have a cough that won’t quit. Our RN son thought we should get a health check. We called the clinic at 8 am. The receptionist was the most combatant and rudest person, I have ever spoken with, as a first point of contact at a Medical clinic.
I am beyond worried. We have just arrived in an area where apparently we will not be able to be seen by a Doctor, the Clinic is not taking on any new patients. The guard dog for a receptionist barked at me. She actually told me to go to the Hospital as “they care about people”. Am I to assume this clinic does not care about their patients? Looks like we will be reconsidering our move to this part of Australia.

Over comited them self to patient can't get a appointment in realistic time which is putting stress on local hospital for unnecessary treatment ,refusing treatment if outstanding fee ,say their doing the community a service but are lining their pockets instead, charge family separately but seen together and doctors was running 50 Min late so chemist was closed therwfore we couldn't get our medication so had to go all the way to the mount for it. The medical board needs to look into this.

The worst doctor surgery I’ve ever had to deal with. First we couldn’t get any medication for our cough that we still have so had to unfortunately go here, I’m part of the CTG but apparently they don’t cover it on a Saturday lol what a joke, after waiting over an hour even though we had an appointment we had to go all the way to mt gambier just to get medication bcoz they took that long to see us that the local chemist was closed so thanks for that as well! Not only that they charged us individually when we were seen together, medication did F all so even after that we ended up going to the doctor in penola bcoz they’re so useless and was actually diagnosed properly. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone, if ur unwell go to PENOLA. I wouldn’t even give it 1 star but I had to in order to put my post up!

I agree FULLY about the receptionist staff.
Lisa is the worst, argumentative, sarcastic, condescending.
With one exception, they are the same as Lisa
I was following the “call on the day”, lucky dip system one day and fifty minutes later I was hung up on because I questioned why I had to email the nurse who WAS there ( I had been incorrectly told the nurse WASNT there)
It seems to me the receptionists have been given too much backing by management.

To his clinic has gotten to the point of utterly ridiculous in who they will or won't see. Can't even get our 4yr old in to get his chest checked because he has a common cold. Multiple Negative covid tests and they still refuse. Offer a phone consultation instead like somehow a doctor could tell what's going on over the phone. Slight sniffle and they treat you as if you have the most contagious and deadly disease.

Worst managed clinic I've been to. Sat in the waiting for an hour to be told my doctor's not here today. So I took time off work for absolutely nothing.

Receptionist staff act like you're the biggest inconvenience in their life. Wow, quite shocking the amount of audible sighing and 'oh my god' I heard when trying to make an appointment.

I have travelled around Australia for 20 years and I would have to say this is the worst,
No appointments for 2 weeks a stupid system where you have to ring at 8am in the morning to Maybe get a appointment, and then you have to tell the reception your health problem, (what happened to patient doctor confidentiality)

Probably the worst medical clinic in the country, said I was 10 mins late so my appointment was gone, how ever I've waited over 1 hour waiting for the doctor to see me , obviously one rule for them and one rule clients,

Terrible service. Just up for the money. Will be going else where
