Gravel/dirt road to enter, we got in with caravan but wasn’t easiest of roads.
Only saw two spots for a caravan, and a few for tents over some barrier poles, ground was pretty hard. Toilets were nice enough drop toilets.
Plenty of trees around and a nice gap to look at the stars ! Will be back if ever in the area

Great camp ground in the bush, make sure to book ahead of time and secure a nice site! Heaps of Xanthorrea (grass trees) around and beautiful eucalyptus!

Nice picnic area. We only went for a hike and a day trip. Plenty of tables, fire pits and camping sites. Shady coz of trees. Few walking trails of various lengths emerge from this camping ground. Trails are pretty flat mostly and were a good experience. Had a bbq afterwards. We enjoyed it a lot.

Enter from Brisbane Ranges Road, DON'T go along M Quigleys Lne it has NO ACCESS. Lt River Track is Management Vehicles Only. Good camping but can get very busy.

An absolute gem of a spot!

My partner and chose to camp here as it wasn’t too far a drive from Melbourne, and it was much more private than we expected. Comfortable drop toilets, plenty of nice walks and an abundance of tranquil, natural surroundings. Along with the nature, we were kept very entertained by a strange shirtless man walking around in bright green lederhosen, who would pop up and say hello.

The only downfall was that the fire pit and picnic table were separated from the car space for each site, meaning you couldn't drive up to them - we camp in our van rather than tents so this was a tiny bit inconvenient.

Overall a great spot and worth the visit if you value privacy in a camp ground.

A lovely spot for a bit of quiet camping; though my quick visit yesterday was just for a refreshing stroll between showers. Camped here several times pre the 2009 fires, then you could expect to see several koalas snoozing in the branches near the billabong, or running over the track at dusk.

Great little campground, was the only person there when I visited. Campsites 1,2 and 4 would be suitable if you are camping out of your vehicle as they protude slightly into the campgounds.

Great Little campground! Not too far out of Melbourne and very easy to get to to. Roads are great to get in. Highly recommend!

Great campsite if you're looking for a place far away from civilization. There is no electricity, showers or even mobile network coverage there. It's not easy to find it though so make sure you don't arrive there after sunset.

Easy to get to from the city, great, quiet spot with enough space between sites to still feel like you "got away" while other campers are nearby.
