A beautiful quiet spot..located near Clare and many wineries..Cabin equipped with all necessities needed. Breakfast supplied for each morning and a loaf of fresh made bread daily..Rooms very clean ..
I will definitely go back again..

A lovely stay. The location is delightful and level of cleanliness provided in the cabin was perfect. The attention to detail was definitely noticed and provided a high level of confidence. We would have no hesitation in recommending Watervale Retreat.

Amazing location, peaceful and quiet. Clean and well equipped cabins with everything you need plus lots of little extras that i havent seen in other units, in particular freshly baked bread bought to the cabin every morning. Highly recommend. We would choose to stay again if in the Clare Valley.

Lovely spot. David and Tracey were the perfect hosts. The loaf of freshly cooked bread in the morning was a lovely touch. Plenty of supplies for your stay provided.

The owners bake you a fresh loaf of bread every morning DELIVERED to your cabin still warm. The best fresh bread I had. Very peaceful at night, away from the pubs. The cabin was cleaned thoroughly and all amenities are provided including pots and pans for guests to cook a meal. There's also an outdoor bbq. Please note that Watervale gets really cold at night.
All in all, I believe this is the best accommodation you can find in the Clare region. The services are excellent and I will surely return again. Thank you D and T.

Self contained cabins in peaceful surroundings with beautiful birdlife and animal park views through the windows.
Very clean with freshly baked bread delivered each morning, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here for work and we love it! It is so peaceful. David and Tracey are really friendly and accommodating. The bread is amazing and the cabins are really clean as well. Will definitely recommend.

Deserves its 5 star reviews - quiet, private and freshly baked bread every morning. Perfectly located for the Riesling trail, Clare golf club and all the wineries and gastropubs you could want.

Tracey and David are not only amazing hosts but also great bakers. The best bread I have ever had. Amenities in the cottages are great. Love feeding the alpacas and emus... must stay... will surely come back again.

A good location to explore Clare Valley from. Cabins have all modern conveniences to make your stay very comfortable. Proprietors even provide freshly baked bread each day! Will certainly be going back. 🙂

This place is an amazing little escape with the owners being so welcoming making it feel like home, with fresh bread every morning to the continental breakfast supplied in the room this is a perfect retreat. To look out the bedroom windows to see emu and alpacas and deer to then being able to help feed them is just a great experience. Perfect location.

Nothing was too much trouble. Our hosts gave us great suggestions on where to go in the region and we were cosy and felt at home.

The whole place is so lovely. The units, sheets,towels, bed are immaculate. Well appointed and cosy throughout. The fresh bread in the morning was a great treat.

Fabulous place to stay, spotlessly clean, beautiful surroundings, heaps of little personal gestures to make our stay more comfortable too many to mention, great friendly hosts and to top it off having freshly baked bread for breakfast...thankyou we couldn’t have asked for more hope to see you again.
