Gingin an out of the way location nice place to stop for lunch seem like there is a well organised community. The park at lunch time was quiet we sat in the picnic area then walked over the bridge to the water wheel to the Gingin sound shell. Public WC’s close by and a cafe just up the hill. We stooped for fuel at Liberty garage.

Serene park with lots of history. A replica of the water mill that use to drive the flour mill has been recreated and is a marvel to watch. Bridges cross the waterway to the church and playground. Playground suitable for older kids 2+ but there are swings too. If you get hungry exploring the area there is a little cafe next to the park.

A gorgeous sprawling park in the heart of Gingin ( maybe 2 and a 1/2 hours drive north of Perth).
Think midwinter strolls across lush green lawn, near an overflowing stream, with a feature water- wheel from olden farming days...
Complete with a small chapel in the distance..
an ampitheatre ( celebrating pioneers and War veterans)
and a bbq/ playground...
Sound nice??!!🤗

Very scenic. Gingin brook pretty, but a bit scummy. Wetland walk with paperback trees a 10m must

Great place for picnics, play, see the ducks and wild geese. Kids can run. Weddings can be had. Well worth a visit. If your lucky enough to stop by CU @the park for a coffee and cake or meal and enjoy the views.

Went to an all British classic car show here in Gingin.. Well laid out with lots of space for all the car enthusiasts.. There was a sideshow alley for the kids and food vans set up too..

I'll definitely make the trip up from Perth again next year..

Tucked away across the road is a beautiful nature walk. There is an abundance of native plants and birds and you can hear diffrent types of frogs croaking. It's peaceful and cerene to walk over the wooden walkways and bridges. Definitely take your camera.

In the centre of town is the picturesque Granville Park which is surrounded by preserved buildings of historical significance. This is an excellent spot for a picnic or barbecue, alongside a unique water wheel propelled by the flowing waters of the Gingin Brook, which rises from several springs not far from the town and flows strongly all year round. No camping or overnight parking.
