Lake Bolac Motel

This motel has exceeded expectations beyond belief. The rooms are incredibly clean and they've been renovated to have new bathroom vanities.
The little touches (coffee machine, mocha sachets and chocolates on the bed side table) in every room really make this place stand out amongst everything.
The lovely owners really topped the place off with being kind and having a chat.

Stayed Easter Monday - pub down the road closed however Allan offered us frozen meals (no cost!!) - the coffee machine, quiet room and upgraded rooms is excellent. Andy

I visited this little hotel on my way from the 12 Apostles to Grampians National Park. It's located off major highways but on one of the alternative routes. The hotel has been upgraded... very nice. And, the folks are friendly and obliging.

Very clean and comfortable, owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, we ended up arriving outside of check-in hours due to transit issues and they ensured that we could still access our rooms with ease.

Allan was really accomodating with our late arrival. We stayed for one night and left early in the morning but it wasn’t a problem for them. The rooms were so clean and the bed really comfy! Loved the Easter eggs left on the bed table and our morning coffee/tea.

The rooms are modern, clean and appliances are new and well maintained. The beds are wonderful and firm , a lso with
a great Rain shower and Expresso machine, one feels spoilt. The owners are welcoming and helpful.and the setting is relaxing and serene.,
Even though it's located on the hwy, you don't hear the cars.

Very good accommodation at a affordable price.❤. Excellent supwr Hosts who are available for anthing and any time between 8am to 8pm. Room service available. Around 50 to 90 kms to Grampians depending on where you want to go.Around 90 kms to Ballarat.

What a gem. Very surprised. Lovely and clean, very well stocked with even a coffee pod machine. Highly recommend a stay here and the feed down the pub's not bad either.

What a delightful stop on our road trip. Such a friendly greeting, rooms delightfully equipped and the coffee machine was well utilised! Dinner at the pub is a must as is the heritage walk just down the toad. A really great base to explore a very interesting area.

Great people, great local Motel .

The reviews that are reporting this Motel as bad in April 2019 are doing so because they are bullies. A Group of gun wielding duck hunters wanted to book, a) with hunting dogs - AND NO PETS ARE ALLOWED and b) they would all be fully armed with guns and live ammunition, what hotel would want guests staying with this kind of weaponry? This is a FAMILY business, well loved, well respected in the community and well liked by guests!
The men posting these bad reviews are defaming a good business because they are having a tantrum and putting it down to the Motel not wanting hunters. These men are defaming a business, they are leaving false reviews and they are being bullies and absolute awful human beings trying to take down a much loved business.
Stay here people, the Motel is lovely, the people that run it are good hard working Australians and if like most of us, you love wildlife and shooting with a camera, go stay here.

Lovely place that I can clearly recommend to everyone + friendly owner
