Just had my custom made rear gate fitted by a.h.steel fabrication. Wow what a fantastic gate. It’s 2.7 metres high picture type frame and slides perfect.
The motor works so good as does the
Remote and keypad. The design and the way it works on a slope is really impressive. I’ve had so many people stop and comment on how good it is.

Great quality workmanship, also uses great quality products!

I employed A.H. Steel Fabrication to build electric gates on my property last year and am very disappointed with the results. The gates are poorly built with badly finished joins and there is rust appearing on the metal surfaces. There is no undercoating on the gates and the thin layer of paint is peeling off everywhere. The paintwork was inspected by Dulux paints representative at my request and the report stated no primer was used, gates not painted to specification and overall coating thickness underbuilt. Anthony has not been forthcoming with a copy of the Dulux report. The gates are still under a 12 month warranty however Anthony has made little effort to resolve the issue.
My phone calls and emails have been ignored and he has blocked me on his Facebook website from leaving a review. As a result of the bad experience I’ve had I would never recommend his services to anyone. The project has been full of delays and poor quality workmanship leaving me with no choice but to seek legal advice.
