What a venue, and what a view! We were lucky enough to secure Jack Rabbit as our wedding venue and it did not disappoint. The beautiful venue and view speak for themselves but what really sets Jack Rabbit apart from the rest was Kate and the wedding coordination team, who are there to guide, help and advise every step of the way.

The team went above and beyond on the day, the food was exceptional and the team are genuine, helpful and attentive. They had a perfect wet weather plan (that highlights the amazing view!) making sure all guest were taken care of and ensuring our day was as perfect as we imagined.

We couldn’t recommend this beautiful venue and its team highly enough.

I was lucky enough to photograph Sherridan & Jordan’s wedding here at the end of December 2023 and what a stunning venue Jack Rabbit is! If you’re a couple looking for the perfect wedding venue look no further. The venue itself is stunning with its lush vineyards, iconic view over the waters of Port Phillip Bay and its beautifully open and well lit reception spaces. The team there does an exceptional job and have always provided brilliant service every time I’ve photographed there, as well as the chefs in the kitchen who cook up some totally delicious dishes. The abundance of photography locations and opportunities are nothing short of amazing, with breathtaking backdrops in every direction that make my life super easy, and guarantee some beautiful photos for any couple who hosts their special day there. Jack Rabbit is a one of a kind venue and I hope to be back snapping some photos there one day soon!

The atmosphere was surreal, very relaxing and the view onto the sea was priceless. We had dinner at the Jack rabbit cafe and if you ever go there try their mussels on special. Delicious dish and great value for money 🤩💖

The cafe at Jack Rabbit is a fantastic place for lunch on a pleasant sunny day. The food is great. I can recommend the seafood platter, with Pinot Grigio to go with it.

Jack Rabbit boasts stunning bay views and impeccable food. It’s a must visit when on the Bellarine peninsula and a reasonable day trip for lunch from Melbourne. Even if you aren’t a wine lover I would recommend dining purely for the delicious crispy chats. Everything we ate was exceptional and given the quality the price point was value for money.

There are a few fine dining style menu items; quail, kangaroo, venison etc but if you prefer simple fare the eye fillet is sublime and the dark chocolate dessert flawless. All elements executed to perfection and working in perfect harmony. I couldn’t fault the meal

There has never been a more romantic day than this.
If the weather you plan to visit is clear and no windy, be sure to go !

This was my second visit to this beautiful winery. The location and view are absolutely stunning. We ate in the restaurant but there is also a less formal Cafe. Food was wonderful and wine delicious. View from the toilets is pretty special too. Lots of grounds to wander around

We had dinner last night - the food and the service by Jaiden and Briony was exceptional. We had high expectations which were totally exceeded and will very much look forward to visiting again. Fresh fish was amazing and the cheeseboard was the best we have had for a long time. Thank you 🙏 Jack Rabbit for an exception dining experience.

Food and wine great. Really enjoyed the restaurant. Next time the cafe food area looks great as a cheaper alternative.

Four of us had lunch on Sunday for joint wedding anniversaries. We have dined here a number of times because of the food, service, ambience and, of course, the spectacular view. All dishes we ordered were visually appealing and delectable, and we had friendly and attentive service from India. We ordered grilled octopus, purple cabbage, nasturtium, sea urchin cream, finger lime, daikon radish / charred watermelon, pickled rind, miso eggplant puree, tofu cashew zhoug, puffed rice / seared duck breast, braised cabbage croquette, beans, pecorino, chilli, white wine jus / rabbit & pork roulade, pancetta, pork & potato hash, mustard, radish, chicory & dandelion / baked parsnip Roman gnocchi, spinach, king brown mushrooms, brown butter, peas.

We were spoiled with the MOST superb day for a view - the fantastic position of this restaurant and its floor to ceiling windows allowed us to take full advantage. The wine was nice and some particularly memorable dishes were the potato spiral, the venison and the quince pudding for dessert. Staff were friendly and overall a great experience.

Booked in for a lunch, we arrived a bit earlier than expected and was given a table straight away. Service and wine was good and food delicious. Staff were friendly and accommodating considering how busy they were. View of the bay was amazing from where we were seated. More of a younger crowd and laid back atmosphere.

I was genuinely impressed with the food their serve! All dishes were full of flavours and even their side dish-baked potatoes were amazing! Such pretty venue too esp around the sunset time. Super close to the bay and the view is just amazing I’d definitely go back:

I just want to write an excellent dining experience at the Jack Rabbit restaurant last Friday.

Indiah was the epitome of exceptional service and genuine hospitality. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, her warmth and professionalism set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.

Upon learning that we were celebrating my husband's birthday during a challenging time, Indiah went above and beyond to ensure that every moment was special. Not only did she secure the best seat in the house, but she also surprised us with a beautiful array of small birthday sweets, delivered with heartfelt sincerity.

Her attention to detail and thoughtful gestures truly made us feel valued and cared for. It's clear that Indiah is not just in the hospitality business, but rather, she embodies the true spirit of hospitality itself.

We left the restaurant with hearts full of gratitude and smiles on our faces, already looking forward to our next visit. And when we return, there's no doubt that we'll be hoping for the privilege of being served by Indiah once again. Thanks to her for making our celebration an unforgettable one.

There is a cafe adjacent which was well located and very busy. Recommend booking especially weekends and holidays

We were so pleased to get a dinner reservation here during the Easter long weekend. We were greeted by such beautiful views of the bay, You Yang ranges and also some glimpses of Melbourne! We were lucky to sit outside and managed to catch the sunset. Definitely recommend this if you have the option to do so!

If I am being honest, I do not even know where to start. Jack Rabbit on the Bellarine Peninsula delivered. I just visited this place only today, and am wooed by the astonishing service. I started my time at the place being kindly greeted by the staff and seated at my table, which was so neatly put. On request, I was offered a range of fine wines, my particular favourite was the sweet sparkling moscato. Since I was attending here for an event, we had a set plan of 3 courses, each of which were an entree, main and dessert which we could choose from off the menu. I ordered the peppered venison fillet, confit duck leg and triple chocolate icecream sandwich. Although the portion sizes were smaller than your average meal at the pub, a wonderful place like this will never compare to how greatly the quality of the dish is. All 3 meals tasted impeccably amazing and were so beautifully put together. Whilst enjoying my meals the staff were so kind to continue asking and serving for any extra assistance. Not only does the Jack Rabbit have excellent staff and food but also gain extra points for the views, which by the way are to die for! I urge you to dress up nicely and grab those cameras of yours to capture those moments you will never forget.

Beautiful location, absolutely breathtaking ... The wine was amazing.. The seafood was to die for.. This place is perfect for date nights or a day out with friends.
