Moonambel Resort Hotel

It's the people who make a place: I love staying at Moonambel Resort Hotel when travelling through!!! This was my second time staying for one night. The host is incredibly welcoming and engaging. The food is lovely, with vegetarian option. When I arrived, a few local customers where waiting for their meal, and I was made extremely comfortable to join them. How lovely for a solo traveller to be made so welcomed and included!!! The room was quiet, good heater and an electric blanket. I was up for a very early start, and my delicious vegetarian breakfast was waiting for me. I was given great advice on the best route to take to continue on my journey.

We spent one night here as we were attending a function at a local winery. From the time we arrived, we were welcomed like one of the family. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. The meal was delicious and just what we needed after a long day. Stuart and his family were most entertaining and were good company during the stay. Cooked Brekky and tea/coffee was included and was on the table as soon as we sat down. The deck outside was a beautiful place to eat. All in all a very welcoming place to stay. If you’re not after luxury but looking for you’d value and first class treatment you can’t go past this place.

The Sunday roast was delicious. Had an amazing plate of pork and lamb along with a variety of sides. The garlic bread was fantastic and the pork skin and gravy were great accompaniments. Definitely recommend stopping by if you can. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Great little pub. Lots of history. Meals are very reasonably priced and the place is spotless. Stewie the publican and his wife are really nice people. This is a must to visit. Give the Pubs in Avoca a miss

Recently rode over with our motorcycle club for their Sunday roast. I tell you what, I've never had a better feed anywhere. It's a carvery lunch with three different sorts of meat and all you can eat in the vegies. Bloody fantastic meal and highly recommended.

Great value accommodation in a small country pub that included a cooked breakfast. The pub is on a back road meaning very little traffic and no heavy trucks rumbling by during the night. Owner has completed renovating the rooms. Will stay again.

Held an event here. Stewart and staff were amazing and accommodated a large group. Full night of music, karaoke, food & Drinks as well as rooms for the night.
Will use these guys for more events!

Fantastic place now I gave it all 5 stars because it doesn't take much to keep 30 blokes happy cold grog clean rooms and great food prices great service great had a blast they even have a pool very clean really nice lawn for camping Central to other places to see

Lovely country pub, food was fantastic as well as accommodation very clean, back deck great spot to sit and relax, staff make you feel like part of the family, highly recommend

Just a great place with great people very clean and hospitality plus from a lovely family with a big smile. Great for groups, car clubs, bike clubs etc.
