Lancefield Guest House

Stayed here whilst attending a wedding in Lancefield and couldn't have been happier with the location and quality of the venue.

Well priced, simple accommodation. Friendly host who was more than helpful with all of our queries whilst there. Location was fantastic, right across the road from the local brewery and a 2 minute walk to the main street.

We would definitely stay here again if in the area and may even make a trip back soon to check out all of the local wineries in the surrounding areas.

Owner was lovely. She squeezed me in as i was just a show up. Room simple and clean. Bathroom freshly renovated. Breakfast included was yum. Home was beautiful. Many private rooms and even outside areas to sit and read etc.

Wonderful welcome and stay at this very well presented and friendly guest house. Great facilities on site and with the brewery across the road serving lovely meals it delivered the full package. I will be back

My partner and I had the unexpected pleasure of staying at the Guesthouse after a car breakdown. Kate could not have been more accommodating, even going so far as organising food for us from the pub across the road as we were arriving after all food outlets had closed. An additional pleasure was the charming room, very clean and very comfortable. Thank you Kate. Lea and Alan

Rowdy group of nine golfers stayed on a Saturday night. Kate's calmness, patience and friendliness was greatly appreciated by us all..a truly gentle soul! A lovely place to stay...ancient, historic building with big, spacious rooms but all with the modern trimmings. Some spacious common rooms and a big dining room for our continental breakfast with plenty of supply. A cooked breakfast would have been a welcomed option...still we knew what we were getting. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous place to stay, Kate and Peter were so friendly and helpful. Gorgeous rooms, really comfortable. Lovely sunroom to read and lounge area as well, met some lovely people who had been to the music festival and they played guitar in the lounge area, so fantastic! Secure, safe and lovely! The breakfast was excellent, cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt, tea and coffee, lots of variety plus catered for gluten free! Highly recommend!!

Great stay for a couple nights, nice little fire place in our room, continental breakfast had a good variety of breads, cereals and drinks. Close to the hotel for dinner and lots of wineries, distilleries and things to do within about 30-40 mins drive.

Fantastic venue. Clean, beautiful and quiet. Hosts were wonderful. Cooked breakfast and bus to the concert were the icing on the cake. Will be back again

Lovely place. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Mattress was a bit too firm for my liking, but everyone's different. Good continental breakfast and great service.

We couldn’t have found a nicer place to stay. Beautiful and central, within walking distance to lovely shops and parks. The Guesthouse is beautiful, comfy beds and lots of warm little places to curl up with a book. Kate is lovely and hospitable. The dining room is always keep clean. We can’t recommend it more and will definitely be returning!

We absolutely loved our stay! Nice comfortable rooms, comfy beds, quiet stay and a wonderful fully stocked kitchen for a variety kind of breakfast and plenty or coffee!

Wow what a beautiful stay... Kate & Peter are such lovely soul's so welcoming we felt like we were just at home in this beautifully Victorian style house. Beds are so comfortable, everything was so clean & fresh & smelt beautifully. Especially loved the lounge with games to play :) We really didn't want to leave today dont change a thing. What a fantastic place to stay! I arrived late, and got a warm welcome. My room was nice and warm, the heater had been on. Access to a guest kitchen and in the morning, an amazing continental breakfast.
I will definitely stay here again, and can highly recommend Lancefield Guesthouse!

Our very large extended family booked this wonderful guest house for the entire Easter period. Rooms are all clean, spacious and deliciously comfortable. The big dining room provided an excellent get together space while several other cosy spaces offered easily accessible peace and quiet for those who needed it. Hosts Peter and Kate are to be applauded for their generosity, gentle management and thoughtful care.

If you need to relax and unwind. this is the place clean cosy and the hosts are really nice very quiet brilliant

This is the place to visit . Peter and Kate are the most generous and considerate hosts you could ever want. Nothing is to much trouble, Kate look after me and my extended family (22) of us for 3 days and we just loved it

Had a lovely couple of nights at Lancefield Guest House beautiful heritage building and attentive but unobtrusive hosts. If it had not been for what I assume were other guests swiping my freezer blocks from the guest fridge would have been a perfect stay.

Beautiful place with amazing food and service. Great spaces for our meetings too. Thoroughly recommend for teams looking for a retreat somewhere.

Warm, clean welcoming accommodation. Our hosts were discreetly attentive and the food was wholesome ,plentiful and delicious.
