Seven Hills Tallarook

I absolutely loved my stay at Seven Hills. Such a beautiful homestead with a lovely pool to relax near and soak in the amazing views and sunsets. Hosts Rebecca and Taylan are so welcoming and accommodating and treat you like family. So many lovely animals to meet and greet on a morning walk should you be up for it such as shriek the donkey, lamas, goats, pigs and horses. The tiny house is beautifully situated and so cosy. Will definitely be back to visit again very soon.

7 Hills is one of those rare country getaways where you have the opportunity of a family friendly farm “homestead” stay or go camping in one of the well set up camp sites along its 500 plus acres. Our team had our corporate event here 10 years ago and having recently visited for a more personal farm stay both our experiences have been excellent - same friendly hosts, great location within easy reach of Tallarook Rail Trail and of course those amazing views!

I stayed for four weeks at Seven Hills Tallarook and had an amazing time. Taylan and Rebecca made me feel so welcome in their family and in Australia. I made so many great experiences and memories on their farm and would come back anytime :)

Amazing place with spectacular views. The owners are extremely kind, caring and hardworking and they’re are always willing to help! The environment is incredible filled with wonderful people! Highly recommend

I have been to Seven Hill 3 times now with my partner and I have love the hospitality the Bec and Taylan.

The owners were fantastic and allowed us to organise a wonderful weekend with a large group of friends. The campsite had plenty of shade and the views were beautiful. Special thanks for trying to help us with our bus the next day!

We booked this venue from hipcamp for a group of us camping. Rebecca was great at responding to messages and very helpful once we were there. Very kind group of people, would definitely recommend booking this beautiful spot 😊

We stayed at this lodge on the weekend. The place is massive! So many bedrooms and living spaces. One thing that everyone mentioned was that the owner did not cheap out on anything; Bose sound system to the beautiful timber decking. The place was very clean too which was important to us as my wife and I are little germaphobes.
If you do have a 4WD as a choice of vehicle, take that as the drive way is quite steep. Plus you can take the fourby for a spin to the near by creek.

Fantastic venue , we hosted our wedding this weekend owners very accommodating, went above and beyond to help us with the weather , couldnt recommended enough , absolutely brilliant

Spent a blissful long weekend in the peaceful property, kids loved feeding the goats, getting back to nature!!

Seven Hills Tallaroot vic 160 Scotts rd

Bought a processed whole goat for over $200. Unfortunately it was tough like an old shoe. (And I ain't no newbie cook either). Perhaps it was an older goat that has been up and down the 7 hills too many times. The order took almost a month to deliver. Some items were mislabeled. On a positive note, according to my wife the lady who made the delivery was nice. On another positive note, my muscles for mastication has had a good workout.

Not a safe supportive inviroment for vulnerable adults with mental health issues. Only recieved very short times with the support person. Who didn't even have adult mental health training. Was left alone for most of the time, even when I would have liked company or to do something.
Struggled with the music & TV setup, had many failed attempts to operate. The only times I was taken anywhere for a quick lunch, or an outing to look around, was when the very young woman had to run errands for the much older man's business. Very unsatisfactory as I would be left waiting in the car/truck for indiscriminate times. Acouple of good dinners on the way home, after driving all over the countryside in an uncomfortable cold seat delivering wood @ night in the rain.
Often he was drink driving in the truck on the back roads. So when I would climbed in, beer cans fell out the door. I refused the offers of beer in the truck.
Not the best inhouse meals @ night, all cheap food, even though I was paying thousands of dollars to be there for a week on respite. All I wanted was a steak on the BBQ & to go to a country pub for a counter meal, both never happened very disappointing.
I was exposed to many loud aggressive arguments between the older man & 3 teenage boys, when invited into the house for company & dinner. While he drank heavily. Not a good inviroment for someone with severe PTSD.
Acouple of times I was unceremoniously left to look after the BBQ tea or the roast dinner. Whilst she went off to do some errand for him, cos he was drinking. There would have been no tea if I didn't & food would have burned. Even though I was a guest.
The laundry next to my bedroom continually stunk of moldy washing. I wasn't able to lock the front door for safety or privacy. Abit weird, I often didnt feel safe.
What goats there were way off in another paddock. Couldn't get to on your own. The pool was not available, dirty. I did like the dogs & the chooks. Be very careful about believing all the hype they sell you here. Nothing is as it appears or seems.
