Horseshoe Bend Camping Ground

Great free camping area, right on a river, it's nice and clean, plenty of trees and birds.
Nice and peaceful but look out for brown Snakes.. Would go there again if I didn't experience the fright of my life when a brown snake slithered in between my Grandson's chair and my chair.

Always enjoy coming here!! Such a beautiful, peaceful little spot (peaceful depending upon who you're camping with, of course 🙄). I love laying in my tent at night and listening to the sound of the river flowing & the wind in the tree tops.

Enjoyed camping here. Plenty of spots with concrete camp fires in each. The camping spacing is very good with a feeling of your own space but still can see others around. Fishing was good as long as you pick your spots well. Small trout caught in the afternoon, right on the bend. Looks like it will get busy during the holidays but we were there for the first weekend of September holidays and it wasn't that busy.

Plenty of campsites to choose from easy river access if you find the right camp area. Good toilets. And new fire pits. Fish in the river and fresh water crays. Sorry can’t find the photo.

Great free campsite. Gets busy on long weekends so you have to get there quite early to secure a spot. The road from Eildon to Jameson is extremely twisty which is perfect for fellow bikers

Awesome place to adventure with plenty of official campsites. A little exploring and you can find plenty of nooks to set up camp if you're looking for a slightly more secluded place as well.

A great family bush camping ground, a beautiful river with beautiful scenery. Bush walking , fishing of all types . Long dropes for your comport.

It was super busy over the long weekend which explains why, it's a great spot and free camping and no network which is best while you are camping😅

There is a drop toilet, the rest is byo. Plenty of spots to set up, and a few good points to go swimming in the river
