Tame Cafe

We were just passing through & Tame Cafe caught our eye , decor was welcoming, the staff although young were extremely friendly & respectful.

A hidden gem in Victoria's north... this cafe, located in Yarrawonga's main street is a great cafe that caters for breakfasts, lunches and tea breaks.

Prices are fair, service is brilliant and the decor is comfortable, especially the main dining room.

Families are welcome, as the cafe has a kids playroom, which the kids can use on the condition a parent supervises them (and not from a table at the other end of the cafe).

Parking is on street only, and the place is wheelchair friendly.

Delicious food!! and generous sizes. All the junior staff are doing such a great job at what they said is their first job! great work

This place is so awesome, The way the staff treated me as a human being unlike some other restaurants was amazing. The food was also outstanding and awesome as well the chef knows what they are doing! Definitely coming back here again!

Large serves of food, the staff were happy to make my leftovers up as a "doggy bag" for me.

Just been to Yarrawonga for a week with a group, breakfast was great, fun start to the day, loved my coffee, dinners were country cooking at the best, staff just so amazing, absolutely loved the whole family involved, as for the boys helping was the best , I’m going back, country hospitality at its best !!

We come to yarrawonga at the end of the year and we saw this place we gave it a try amazing we loved the smoothies they had and I had to give them a tip its just so good and kids love it as it has a playground inside

Have been here a number of times now & the food is always good & reasonably priced (compared to other cafes).

The staff are great. Considering how understaffed everyone is, you could see everyone working overtime to get things out to customers. A lovely family feel place.

There was everything to eat & drink. Everything was done with a smile. The quality of food was fresh, tender, & varied. The service by angels was perfect and with a bingo magic

We had breakfast Sunday morning, although the place was busy we were greeted by staff upon entry with a smile, breakfast was well presented and tasted amazing, I had a milkshake that was great and the wife said her coffee was one of the best she has ever had… we will be back in the near future 😊

Chicken schnitzel burger was magnificent!

The chicken schnitzel burger had a full thick juicy piece of chicken on a brioche bun with salad.

The team were friendly, providing great customer service. It was great to enjoy it in the outdoor weather protected dining area.

Always welcomed great family atmosphere great healthy food choice's kid friendly plenty of seating room well sometimes gets a lot of customer s so depending on the time sometimes pays to bookahead!!!

Meals were at fair prices, followed by friendly faces and good communication.
Had the Chicken snitzel open roll with a side of chips. Found it cooked to a crisp but tender inside and crispy bacon on top.
My eyes just about popped out of my head when it was delivered to our table. I expected a smallish size for the price, so 😊 .
The other meal had was the fisherman's type of basket with coleslaw and chips included. This too was delish apparently. 🍽

We will come back and recommend to all and sundry.
Coffee was fantastic also.☕

Came in with a large group for breakfast. Friendly service, amazing food, great coffee. Change nothing please, we will be back.

Made a phone order quite easily. Staff seemed friendly. Arrived and although busy staff had almost finished my order. Very friendly and easy service. Coffees and milkshake were fabulous. Thanks
