Verona Devonport

We sat outside and had a drink and pizza. Service is good and the inside atmosphere is quite well done.
Pizza is good. The sauce a little too sweet to my liking but it caters to the local market. The flavour of the meat does not deliver the punch it promises.

Great coffees and chai latte. The pizzas were delicious with a beautiful crisp chewy base. Really interesting to see the pizza oven with its rotating base. Prompt service and nicely decorated (loved the motorbike).

Verona Restaurant exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff. The service was impeccable, and the food was simply divine. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Special thanks to Lilly for her exceptional attentiveness and hospitality throughout our dining experience. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Verona to anyone seeking a delightful culinary adventure. Grazie mille!

I enjoyed eating here with my friends. The staff were very friendly and a wonderful environment. The calamari entree was very delicious. I had the scotch fillet main was the best I’ve ever tasted. Finished off with their signature coffee ice cream. We will definitely be back.

The lasagne is oh so delicious! The staff and atmosphere are nice. The pizza was a bit dry for our liking, but otherwise a very nice meal.

A delightful surprise in the middle of Devonport on a Saturday night. Great atmosphere and a real mixed crowd enjoying themselves and the live music. Delicious meal and fantastic service from the staff.

Wow. This is one of the best dining experiences ever. From the welcome when we arrived to the full dining experience, the head chef even made time to have a quick chat. The staff were lovely and efficient they really worked as a team. Now to the food it was amazing, shared a delicious entree then a wonderful woodfire pizza and lovley gnocchi topped of with incredible dessert, it's an absolute credit to the chef and his team. Highly recommended.

We are usually very picky when comes to Italian food. But this… was absolutely delicious!! We all loved our dish. The kitchen staff was so nice and kept checking if we enjoyed our food. Will be back again (:

Strolling into town from our accommodation I said to my wife “if we can find a nice restaurant and enjoy a pizza, fresh salad and a bottle of wine I’ll be a happy man.” And that’s exactly what we got. The food was delicious, atmosphere great, nice and relaxing, and the staff were attentive and engaging. Bonus points, when we ordered and said “we’re sharing” Lucy who was attending to us immediately brought share plates and salad servers to us. Another young lady who took our drink order (sorry we missed your name) gave her recommendation on which wine, we gladly took her prompt and were not disappointed. All in all a lovely experience. We’ll be back!

Such amazing food - some of the best Italian I've ever had. Service was impeccable too. Highly recommended! Very, very good pizzas! Try the apple & raspberry cider on tap, too! A+

We came to celebrate my birthday for lunch and it was definitely a memorable and pleasurable experience!

The house made Limoncello on the rocks and also as a lively cocktail started us off on the right foot! We enjoyed the roasted tomato soup which felt so cosy with croutons and parmesan. An ocean trout carpaccio, and a huge platter of eye fillet with roasted veggies filled us up. Somehow we made room for the delectable tiramisu and coffee soft serve and an enormous cappuccino.

The staff were on top of everything and the Chef even came out which felt like a treat!

We left on cloud nine with full bellies feeling wonderful!

This place doesn't fail we both had scotch medium and rare cooked perfect vegetables cooked to perfection the crunch and seasoned well,
The staff looked relaxed and service was fantastic friendly knowledgeable and well presented we live this place well worth the 45/ 1 hour drive min drive

I had the lamb meat balls and a golden latte for a mid afternoon lunch. Both well really high quality. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The chef even came out to check on the customers which is a rarity nowadays but you can definitely tells he prides himself on the food.

Verona Devonport was a last-minute decision to dine in but ended up been an excellent choice. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the tables are well placed. The menu has a good variety on offer in both food and drinks our entrees and main meals were scrumptious and of good portions all delivered and prepared to perfection, service from the lovely staff was excellent courteous and friendly. We will most definitely return prior to departing on the SOT back home at a later date. It is very highly recommended.

Well worth the drive. We drove 45 minutes to get here and so pleased we did. Table near the fire, great food, great staff and a great end to a day that involved walking around Cradle Mountain.

Beautiful decor thought I was in another country. Lovely service, amazing pizzas plus. A Devonport gem indeed.

We blew in to town as our base for the Deloraine craft fair and went looking for Dinner. When you walk in you see what looks like a take away pizza shop, and as you follow your waitress in to the restaurant proper, it opens up and wow! Very impressive atrium and a separate Bar. All tables booked and shoulder to shoulder patrons. You could just feel the vibe of the place.

The wine and drinks list is extensive, and the menu isn't, but what we had was very good. The Margherita pizza for entree had a crisp crust and tasted great. I don't usually eat the outer crust(what can I say, I'm a man child) but I did this time. My Ocean trout was wonderful and my wife's cannelloni was great as well. The Tiramisu for desert capped a great meal. Writing this the next morning, I'm sorry I'm not the type of person that takes pictures of their meal, as I would have shared them with you.

The staff were everywhere, but still attentive and full cudos to them and the kitchen. There were several large groups so service was a bit slow, but we had lovely meals in a great space, with a nice "vibe" and I had my photo taken with their piece of rolling art, a Ducati motor bike. We had a very nice evening that we will share with others again when we come back north.

Verona is a must-visit for Italian food lovers. The food were absolutely delicious and full or flavours. Great service, good value for money.
