Charming old hotel, food was great, service was excellent,
bed and pillows very comfy BUT...
What makes this place amazing is Faye the young manager. She is an absolute powerhouse, charming, friendly, can't do enough to help you. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement.

Owners were very friendly. We got in late and they were very accomodating - cooking us dinner even though the kitchen was closed. Room was comfy and clean with an electric blanket and heater.

Very friendly and helpful staff/owners. Nothing was too much trouble.
Excellent country pub. Outstanding meals at great prices. Good selection of wines & beers. Very nice outdoor dining area. Highly recommend.👍

We went for dinner not knowing what to expect but ended up having a great pub experience. Met some locals, played darts and enjoyed an excellent dinner. The Parmi was delicious with fresh veges cooked to perfection. Thanks Kerri for a great night!

Excellent country pub, great pub food, good servings, good quality. Lovely indoor dining area, well laid out. Great friendly service and staff. They opened the outdoor dining area for us and our dog, very highly recommended. Menu photos attached from 21/10/2020

A charismatic, historic pub with great service. The meals were both tasty and generous. Can't wait to get back one day. Highly recommend the steak.

We ate here. Had terrific steak, house made rissoles, fresh vegetables : all well presented with friendly service.

What a great pub.. Full of friendly locals and serving the greatest pork steak I have ever eaten.
The main man is an absolute treasure.

I stayed at this beautiful place for 3 months whilst working away. Loved the home cooked food and the great character of the host. Miss tyson the staffi dog. Will come back one day to see you again

Great Accomodation, clean neat room,even though small, bed comfortable even right down to electric blanket!
All we wanted was bed and hot shower so it was great!
Grand old building, wonderful heritage.
Offered continental breakfast, which was great! Very Reasonably priced !

A fantastic well maintained character hotel at reasonable rates, with very friendly hosts, generous serves and comfy warm rooms (male/female bathrooms separate). Only 6 minutes drive from Blue Derby is you'd like a mountain bike, then return for a beer and log fire.

Bill and his family made us feel like part of their family during our 3 day stay in Jan18. Meals top notch, service fantastic, even electric blankets on beds.... True country spirit ! Highly recommended whether passing thru or even if ur visiting Blue Derby 4MTB. .... A+++

The Atmosphere in the public Bar was very welcoming 👍 noice 👍 the meal in the restaurant was delicious. The staff were amazing considering there had been a power most of the day.

Turned up tired, wet, cold, hungry and thirsty and the staff looked after us in every way. Comfy rooms, great food and service and very economical. Would recommend to all travellers.

Had a family night out and these guys went above and beyond, our meals were amazing and the staff were awesome and friendly Thankyou guys we will be back.

Absolutely delicious food couldn't fault the food or service and the dining area was perfect nice and warm with the wood heater.will definitely be back.well done everybody.
