This is a beautiful spot to visit. The views are magnificent overlooking the beach and out towards the kepples. The foot bridge links with the rsl memorial walk. A must to see when in the area.

A thoughtfully designed monument to commemorate Captain Cooks bicentenary visit to Kepple Bay. It features cleverly constructed tubes from the top of the “sail” to the “deck” of the structure. The winds pass through holes in the tubes, like wind in the sails of a sailing ship. During these times it "sings". On the day I visited, there was not a breathe of wind. A good example of public art.

So engaging with the RSL boardwalk and to hear the chimes when the wind is higher was a good way to enjoy Emu Park township. The video couldn't pick them up very well. It means you'll just have to go and see for yourself.

What a great monument. It was very windy when we visited it, but we could hear it singing. I videoed it, but the wind was quite strong and made it hard to hear it singing.
I recommend a visit to this lovely spot.
