Glasshouse Mountains Conservation parkrun

This Parkrun (B course) was on a forrestry trail. There was a mix of surfaces, hard packed dirt, some gravel, sandy strips, a few ruts, tree roots and rocks but honestly that is what trail running is all about, just watch where you put your feet and all will be well. Loved it, nice and shady with good tree cover the whole way. It was an out and back course.

Great track for a jog. Usually in need of volunteers if that’s more your style.

From the event team that brought you Woodford parkrun, the Glasshouse Mountains Conservation parkrun is a great parkrun. The volunteer team are so friendly. The course is an out and back course on trails. The first 2.5km is a gradual downhill which you hardly notice until you turn around and head back. Dogs allowed.

Definitely a great track can follow it all the way to Caboolture through Wamuran along the rail trail.

Beautiful State Forest with great trails throughout, good for walking, bike riding, horse riding, etc. The landslide was at the Raaen Rd end of the main trail, it's already been fixed so you can get around it, beautiful place to visit.

A rugged bush track, care needed. Good area of bush. Gentle grades.
