Victory Village at Riverbend

Absolutely amazing place to visit and escape the everyday day normality and take a step back in time
Great for a day out on the open days, and an amazing family day out
Enjoy the market stalls the archery even sword training with the kids
Arts and crafts weaving and all sorts to join in on
And you gotta stay to watch the Knights and Viking battle it out!

I was at Victory village officiating a hand biding ceremony, renewing marriage vows after 10 years of happy memories.
I will most definitely visit again.

I must confess to being more than a bit biased in this case, but I am really impressed at all the work that has gone into creating this medieval village. If you are even remotely interested in such things you really should get along to one of their open days and have a look around. You will find a very friendly group of people here getting a lot of enjoyment out of this world they are creating.

Wow! What a find. This is a medieval village, in the bush, a 20-30 min drive through lovely bushland south-west of Tiaro. The Village has lots of tiny houses built in various medieval styles for different courtly eras including a banqueting hall, a wedding spot, an inn, and lots of other interesting things. Very well kept and obviously loved by those who inhabit the weekenders. There is a facebook page which advertises the various events that are held there throughout the year.

Lord Terrence and Lady Tonya are wonderful people who welcome you with open arms. Along with McKendry the wolf hound who loves to meet people and is very friendly. The village itself is still growing but has a wonderful feel to it. There is nothing else like this around. It is a very special place with a welcoming feel to it. I would highly recommend anyone of any age to go see this beautiful set up. The photos are of a fight group training day.

Amazingly knowledgeable people. The atmosphere they have built with the cabins and buildings is insane.
Teaching you how to do archery and swordwork and lots of other medeival style things.
Truly a great day out

Lots to see and do. Loved the historical nature of the place. Clean amenities, plenty of food and cold drinks. Great day out.

Great place to go for that medieval themed attraction

Amazing recreation of a 14th century village with people living their characters... interactive and informative, would absolutely recommend this for any family with children

Why go back to the 50’s or 60’s when you can literally go back centuries and soo authentic! Stay in a cottage and soak up living in the past back centuries with real Vikings and Lords, Ladies. The best Real homemade mead I’ve ever tasted 💖 10/10

Awesome day in medieval times. Entertaining watching sword fights and fire twirlers, visiting the market and various merchants in the village. Had a refreshing during at the inn. Great day out.

My daughter and I went out to riverbend on 1 of their medieval games days it was a real good we had a ball, they have done such an amazing job of the buildings and themes it has to be seen to believe will definitely return

I was very surprised to find this place, and how fleshed out and full it felt. Really great experience. Folks there are lovely, helpful, and knowledgeable. Genuinely friendly experience.

Incredible medieval experience. Great day out with lots to see, kids will love the sword fighting, archery etc and interesting stalls, bakery and the Crinklebottom Inn.

A lot of work has been put in to create an accurate recreation of the many eras past. Terry and Tonya are lovely also, well worth a visit

They are very inviting, even though they didn't have a scheduled event we got a personal tour.
