Great to take the kids for a picnic and a fun day outdoors off their devices. Car park is a little small but don’t be deterred it’s a great walk and the bridge is fun. Good to conquer.

Nice little area for a camp. The walk to get there was amazing. We started at Megalong cemetery and it took us roughly 2hrs 30min to get there including our breaks along the way. Good trail for people new to overnight hikes as there alot of other runners and hikers who do the track as a return day hike who can help. The walk is up and down the whole way with a suspension bridge and lots to see along the way!

The campground itself was grassy and had a river deep and clean enough to swim in with fish swimming past

Great campsite, toilets and covered benches and tables. The River is beautiful and the forest around it is as well. Great first stop for the six foot track. Take a filter and water treatment tablets if you wish to fill up here though. Could easily spend 2 nights here too.

Loved this place! Was the only one there due to lockdown,so had it all to myself!I wanted to conquer my fear of heights by doing the Bowtells swing bridge, but 2 steps in,I couldn't do it.The walk to the bridge was lovely, lots of steps,I'm not super fit,but I managed fine.I did have to climb over a huge tree that had fallen on the path! The river and surrounds are absolutely beautiful, worth the trip out there for sure.Roads are dirt a lot of the way,but not too bad, water crossings were minimal, still an SUV or 4wd is recommended.

At the end of Che Che road the gate on the left was unlocked but I got confused and took the road on the right, it said six foot track and our GPS cut out at that point, WRONG TURN! Our 2WD suffered for it! Turned back when the GPS hooked up again and went back to the gate and continued on a pretty decent gravel road. There were some creek crossings but not high enough to damage the holden epica. The campsite at this time was tall high with weeds. We enjoyed lunch by the flowing river and a nice dip. Our kids had no fear about crossing the suspension bridge. There were a few people around, we enjoyed our visit.

Very nice walk and beautiful camp site near the river. Bridge is currently closed however you can cross over with ecolodge man-made bridges without much difficulty. Enjoy the lodge beverages/snacks on the way aswell! Lovely owners!

Bridge is closed by rangers because of hazard unfortunately.
Awesome drive though, 4wd recommended. Don't trust google maps on the route do your own research.

Truly a one in a life time experience to see and feel a suspension bridge in the wild. A nice 2.5km hike and it's moderate to hard depending on your stamina.

Gorgeous sunlight l-dappled river valley camping with limited facilities (picnic shelter, pit toilet). Kangaroos, kookaburras, possums. A perfect spot for a few nights to be immersed in Australia’s natural beauty, as a base for day or longer walks in the area or simply to relax and enjoy. Beautiful, clear mountain river swimming, fishing nearby. 4WD required for the last steep descent into the valley, AWD soft-roaders can be driven in and out with care. If you have never bush camped before, this spot is a great introduction. fences and facilities may detract somewhat from the otherwise unspoiled natural beauty of this location however due to the seasonal popularity they are required for sustainability. Managed by Crown Lands NSW so the rules are somewhat more relaxed than NPWS.

This campsite is meant really for the hikers of the six foot track, and is very basic. However, about 50 metres down from the campground u can camp on the bank of the Cox's river.

Probably about 3-4 tents can comfortably fit there. It's a beautiful place, especially if u get there early enough to get a good spot. Lots of ppl come down for the day to fish up and down the river.

The six foot track is lovely, highly recommend going a few k into it if u are car camping.

Awesome campground! Beautiful green grass area to camp with toilets there too. Rainbow trout in the river, right there! Short walk to the swing bridge which is definitely worth a look!

Great camp spot on river for swim. Has shelter with tables and seats.
There is 2 drop toilets. Camp spots are not that flat in campground.
Bad part is if windy, it will blow straight through the camp at pace.

The canground has adequate basic services such as toilets and water. Nearby short walk to suspension bridge is a highlight. This is only accessible via 4WD track (Glen Chee Road). A very nice location.

One of the most beautiful I've ever been to. There're everything for everyone: a river next to your tent, a spring near by, famous trekking trail, basic facilities, parking,...
