Cafe On Gate Street

I stopped in at this quaint little Cafe in the heart of Kootingal for breakfast and ended up returning for lunch as well as the coffee and experience was lovely.
Owner and staff make you feel like family and their food is tasty + reasonably priced.
Well worth stopping in if you're passing the area.

A fine establishment with fine food and a fine atmosphere. Definitely worth the drive out of tamworth. The big brekkie was better than what you could get from anywhere in town. The customer service was top notch as well.

Jenny and the two boys were so polite it was a pleasure to have Coffee and cake there we will be back excellent country hospitality.

This week I was deployed to this area with RFS and the fires. We stopped at this cafe for coffee and the lovely owner refused to except payment as she was so grateful of the work we were doing. There was 20 of us and it certainly wasn't expected by us but very much appreciated. If travelling up or down the New England Highway please take the time to call in and support this great little country business that isn't far of the highway. Thank you again so very much for your kindness.

Fantastic meals and great country service.

For a little Local cafe in a rural town they do a beautiful sumptuous breakfast at a reasonable price, with happy friendly service.
Met with a girlfriend on Sunday morning for brunch ate bacon and eggs on toast. Bacon was crispy and delicious.
Recommended to anybody who would like a nice country style breakfast lunch or otherwise
