Yarralen Retreat

Came as 2 couples to visit Yarralen Retreat and surpassed all expectations. The property was beautiful and lush. The kitchen was stocked with pots, utensils, gas stone, BBQ, fridge and everything you could need. The owners were incredible and we took advantage of the morning yoga, pool and sauna. It really was a retreat and so cheap for what you get. 100% recommend and will visit again. Next time though, I'll book via their website or instagram or Facebook as opposed to the booking websites so the owners can keep the little they charge.

Beautiful place to stay whether camping or staying in a caravan. Very peaceful and great value for what you get. Very friendly owners who will show you around and help out with anything you need.

This place was such a treat, Julie and cliff were so accommodating, my 4yo loved the birds, the rain Forrest walk, the swimming pool and the tranquility.

I opened my tent to discover I had black mold on it from previous camping trips and Julie the owner straight away organised one of the caravans on site.

We will definitely be back as I have found a little slice of paradise to relax.

Sooo warm, amazing and easy. The property is beyond words! Photos don’t do justice. It’s the perfect place and has everything you could possibly need and much much more !! We went with a big group and had to extend the last night, no one wanted to leave!!! We are already planning our trip back!! Thank you for the best experience and your amazing kindness and hospitality.

If you wish a quiet place in the middle of nature, with fireplace, lots of camping/ caravan experience, nice surroundings, Kangaroos, a beautiful swimming pool and a nice hostess, ho there.
We enjoyed our stay and recommend it.
Just you should not be very pedantic about cleanliness, although, I found it clean, some people maynot agree.

We had such an incredible weekend here. Julie the owner was so welcoming and hospitable to all. Amazing location with great camping amenities. We loved it so much we couldn’t leave and requested to extend which she helped accomodate.

Our visit was relaxing and quiet. We came with our 6 month old and she loved all the chickens and peacocks roaming around. We stayed here overnight on our way back to Sydney and it was only five minutes from the highway. We would have stayed longer if we had the time. Julie is so sweet and made us feel at home. This will be our regular spot for when we drive back to the area.

The birds sing all day, combined with a rainforest surrounding this is pretty special. The yoga deck has a beautiful vibe. My room was full of art and beautiful objects. The owners and staff are so friendly.
This is not a hotel, this is their home.

We stayed in the caravan booked via Airbnb. Great spot, lots of other campers who were all very friendly. Everything you need to make a meal, have a shower and unwind. Thanks for a fab stay.

Loved the isolation, the setting & peace. Definitely relaxing. Great location - central to great beaches & towns. Accommodation had everything you needed...Thera & Luke fantastic hosts while Julie away..

Very welcoming and serene environment. We stayed in unit 2 and it was beautiful. Julie was a great host and if were ever in the area again we will stop past!

What can we say about this beautiful peice of paradise that we were so lucky to call home for the last week. Julie you are the most amazing person and host. We felt so welcome here and it was just what we needed to unwind and relax. It has worked a treat, our bellies full from those hearty breakfasts that you lovingly made for us, fresh googs everyday yumo. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Awesome, awesome place to stay and escape city life. Julie (the host) is such an amazing person. She is very friendly and provide us local tips to visit. This place is surrounded by peacocks and chooks.

Great location for exploring the Macleay Valley region. Julie is a great host. C omfortable clean with a wonderful supply of fruit and breakfast goodies. Offers all you need. Very relaxing environment.

Yarralen Retreat is great , I had a fantastic time there .Great walks and close to the beach, can't believe that anyone could complain about their stay . I think the last person who complain should just stay home as they are just trying not to pay for their stay .To the owner keep up the GREAT WORK , IT IS A CREDIT TO YOU .

Beautiful camp ground with wildlife, bush walks, quiet and private. Very friendly owners with great artwork around the property and magnesium salts pool.

This is a very pretty and comfortable place to stay. The lady that runs the place is down to earth and friendly and the magnesium pool was fantastic. We feel revived.

It was a camping experience.
Not bad for a long drive.
Nice view and a quiet place to camp.
