Had a really nice day here relaxing. It has been dry for a while so the roads were solid. I wasn't in a 4x4 but made it riverside on 13inch wheels. Some deeps parts in the tracks so beware. If you are looking to escape and have some peace and quiet see some wildlife then this is a good place to go.

Lovely peaceful camping spot. Unfortunately it was very wet. Rained heavily through the night so very muddy

The area is awesome. Camp sites r great. Collection of firewood was no problem. Sadly lacking in boat ramp access. There is a few main boat ramps that are full concrete to the water. I used the 1 just down river from Masters Landing. Very good ramp. Not much else in the offering of "bush ramps" So if you're on your own your camping options are seriously limited. The steep river banks are the main reason for this. I was able to find a few camp site's that had "bush ramps" so long as you have a 4x4 & it's not been raining these are fine. The tracks through the park are fine. Although I don't think I'd be driving through the area without a 4x4 when there has been rain. It is a flood plain & clay surface for most. Very slippery conditions. All in all well worth the visit & I'll be back there again. Very nice area

A mighty river (under stress), a canoe, and time. A place of rejuvination. Go there live simple, live small and leave no trace. Pay it forward.

Bloody great place to have a family outing on a lovely day. Care needs to be taken with the little ones near the water.
